As a Pit Master for many years, if you want the real deal pit BBQ Peebles is only place you find it.(around here) food is always consisted. I have been eating here for ever. When I was we little boy my mom would bring home a quart of chopped pork, a quart of beans and a quart of coleslaw and buns. I am 67 now. Thanks for all you do.

I've been underwhelmed at this location. As in my opinion I believe that brisket is another staple barbecue item. I was very disappointed to learn that this establishment does not offer it.
Furthermore, the food is very expensive. This is the primary reason why I will not be coming back or frequenting often at least. I will be honest in mentioning the food is flavorful from what I have had.
I'm giving three stars because this is not the BBQ place for me.
On a side note I'd like to mention that pulled pork sandwich is not pulled pork it is chopped pork. They as well do not have pulled chicken either.
Be careful, they spit on your food. There is an elderly lady who is not hygienic and takes the food with her hands. I bought it and when I looked at the ribs they had saliva on them.

The atmosphere is good and the people are nice. My wife and I ate there late September and we both got sick. I thought I would trying it again and my chicken was burnt and it was like wood . I would not ever eat there again.

I have lived in community near this resturant for close to two years. I decided to stop in and get some to go plates.I stood in line roughly 10mts. There was a (caucasion)lady that came in and asked me if this was the line. I said yes mamm it is. The girl that was taking line orders completly bypassed me, to take the lady's order behind me. Now I try to keep an open mind and not become instantly judgemental. But when your the only one of color standing or sitting in an public establishment and this happens hmmm. I kindly turned around and walked out. My final words for Peebles bbq are if you don't want to serve people of color or cultures put that on your sign so we don't waste our time stopping in.

I wanted to know what the hype was and I noticed that their restaurant is open air and you see and feel the food while is in the process of smoking. It gets quite HOT so be ready for it.
Food was good and service was good too. For me it's a one and done
