We have been going to Peebles for years. The chopped pork just isn't near as good as it was a couple of years ago AND the prices have got so high we don't go there very often. We hate it because it use to be so so good and affordable. We got 2 pork plates with vegetables, and a pint of collard greens and it was $45.00. Way too much for the amount of food we got. We're sad we can't afford to go as often as we would like.
What can I say. When I first came to area in 2006, I asked people where I need to go to eat. More than one said Peebles BBQ. I have been before, but I believe today was my first visit back since before COVID. The food is fabulous. Southern. Home cooked. Fresh. The type of comfort food you want any time of the week. I had some pulled pork and sausage. Yum. The banana pudding, not pictured was mouthwatering. The collards, coleslaw and beans were delicious. Ali was our server. Excellent....
Peebles BBQ is a special place for our family. We have been coming to enjoy delicious food together for generations! We highly recommend Peebles for the absolute BEST BBQ, unique environment and friendly staff.
