Stopped in on my way home and I believe the place was closing but the woman behind the counter was very kind and still served me even though the food had been put away. I’m so glad I finally tried this place because it’s so so good and close to home. This food is amazing. Try it!

Honestly, this one ranks at the bottom of Latin cuisine spots in the Lakeland-Auburndale area. The place was dirty and stinky. It's also woefully cramped. I ordered the mofongo with fried meat. The meat was bland and tasteless. The mofongo didn't have the proper consistency, and the less I say about the flavor, the better. The drink selection was barely nonexistent. Honestly, there are way better places with a 20-minute mile radius. Don't bother with this dump.

The food was authentic and ready to serve! If you want a quick, delicious and warm meal, this is the spot in Auburndale. I will absolutely drive from Lakeland to come here again! The service was quick and the 2 ladies inside were very welcoming. I got the roast pork plate with yellow rice, plantains and a Cuban. The Cuban was made with the roast pork.
