This is the first and definitely last time I will order from this place. Ordered 2 pies, meat lovers and Margherita and 1/2 tray of ceaser salad. Upon delivery Meat lovers had about 1 piece of meat on each slice. The Margherita was dry, more basil then cheese, color of the pizza was the same color of the cardboard and was not sliced. Ceaser salad was in a small container, wilted, brown dry with old croutons. We called back, explaining he situation. The person was very rude and hung up on us, twice. We drove to the place and asked for our money. The person behind the counter was very nasty and rude. Told him we wanted our money back. He took the receipt. Credited us the money back. I asked for his name and he said... Sal.... I told him,, of course you are.... Sal is the owner!!! Sal I don't know if you had a bad day today but you were not professional. I hope your day gets better.

Hey, what's going on...Auburndale is closed and Lake Alfred doesn't answer the phone...hey my friend, forget about Lake Alfred and keep sticking with the original...he who cooks two pigs always burns one...I don't want to have to search Another Pizzeria but closed on a Friday before 9pm says a lot…I love them even if it doesn't seem like it! It feels very ugly to get the illusion of a Sal's Pizza and arrive and it is closed ???

Pizza was really good. Service was really slow but other than that was not that bad for the area.

Very relaxed atmosphere with good food and customer service. Particularly enjoyed the live entertainment from about 5:30-7:30 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Definitely will go back

Let me start off by saying I enjoy the food, but the service can be disappointing ordered online at 6:45pm website says open and so does the online ordering I get there and it’s closed with no sign nothing saying there closed

I can't believe I've waited twelve years to try this place. Sal's Pizza is indisputably the best pizza I've had in Polk county, and is in the top five of pizza places I've had nationwide. (I take my pizza seriously.) Their small calzone is large enough for two, I'm scared of how big the large might be. Their crust is out of this world, with flawless texture and "bite". Their sauce is clearly made with love, and their sweet tea is in fact Milo's, which makes my southern heart smile. If you haven't had it yet, you've got to check this place out.

Extra large pizza are usually not consistent in size. Each time they get smaller and smaller. Good pizza, just not happy with sizing.

Excellent! Thin crust cheesy hot slices! We each had the 2 pce. special after a day of shopping. Boxed up 2nd piece to go, just before that torrential rain. Love that place!

Our pizza wasn't ready anywhere near on time and the owner cursed at us when we asked for an ETA. Pizza was still haphazardly made with most of the toppings on one side.

I grew up in N.J. and N.Y.C. we are
of Italian decent from 1938. Northan decent homemade food being a very important to our family. While pizza is not northern
Italin cuisine it is in N.J. and N.Y.C.
and in my opinion, the best pizza in the world was found in N.J. and N.Y.C. especially the Bronx until now. Sals pizza is a walk down memory lane for my taste buds. The quality of the pie is excellent
the crust and sauce are 2nd to none, and the end product is a true traditional old-school pizza!
Erveything is made on the premises even the basil is grown there. If you want the real deal, go to Sals and enjoy real Italian tradition.

Beware.....they have no a/c
It was the the worst pizza I've ever had. It was oozing an excessive amount of grease we just couldn't eat it. I definitely will not be going back.

Great place! Reminds me of a pizzeria in New Jersey. Best pizza in the Winter Haven area. Bought pizza there twice and so far love the pizza and don’t have to drive 45min to an hour to get good pizza.
