Today I went in with some friends of mine and the experience was great all around, the customer service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the overall vibe was very pleasant. Our server Ally was very kind and attentive, she did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves this kind of cuisine. You won’t regret it. One more thing, the presentation was OUTSTANDING! The leaf presented was mouth watering and delectable. 11/10!!

Very disappointed. This was my first and last time. No flavor. I had the combination steak and shrimp with fried rice. Tons of hard hardly cooked vegetables. The meat was tough as well as the shrimps. You can tell the shrimps were precooked. Again no flavor. It seemed they forgot to fully integrate the flavors prior cooking it. We started with the side salad. It consisted of iceberg lettuce with ranch dressing and few strings of carrots. Then we had the crab Rangoon. Nothing out of the ordinary. As a food critic, this was a horrible experience. When I spoke to the manager, he apologized and insisted in giving us another similar plate. We told them we were leaving since we hardly touched our food. He then came back with the bill and took 20% off instead of the entire bill since we didn’t eat. Then when we were leaving, some lady came running to us and gave us to-go same food. Why? We just told them we didn’t like it. So we ended up paying $28.12.Never ever again!!!

I'm not much of a Japanese food person....However, my first time eating here I was more than impressed with this place. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in trying Japanese food or who already loves it to come here. It's small dine in or take out quality place. Have I mentioned the food is excellent? It is! I had the chicken fried rice and my other half had the fancy dragon roll. I can't say enough good things about this place. Try it and you'll see.
So I wasn’t the one who ordered or picked up the food but the person who did told me that it was clean and had good customer service. At first glance it didn’t look too bad just kind of bland. As soon as I tasted it I had a visceral reaction got mad and knew I had to write this bad review. I’ve never had hibachi so nasty in my life. I’m so mad that someone paid $17 for this. The chicken and rice basically tastes like sugar water. Absolutely zero flavor. The yum yum sauce was orange and tasted like SUGAR it was really really gross and watery. Yum Yum sauce is always a creamy whiteish tangy/sweet sauce at every hibachi restaurant I’ve ever been to. I almost bought a covid test because I thought I had parosmia. It tasted so weird. This experience was terrible and anyone that likes this place has disabled tastebuds and doesn’t know what real hibachi tastes like. DISGUSTING ?

Second time coming and both times the food is bland. Shrimp had no flavor and not fresh, chicken was bland and taste precooked. Nothing has flavor. Fried rice was plain and didn’t even seem to have soy sauce. Teriyaki sauce was watery and flavorless. All sauces I had, (teriyaki, yum yum, dumping sauce) all seemed watered down. I convinced my wife to give this place a second chance but once again not very flavorful.
It is so amazing to see Auburndale have more dining choices. This place is a great one! They have many different offerings. Sushi, hibachi, and plenty of different appetizers. I tried the sushi and my partner got the teriyaki chicken. Both were fresh and delicious. The food came out fast and our waitress was very nice. My favorite sushi roll was the snow krab roll and my favorite part of the teriyaki chicken meal was the vegetables, they were fresh and perfectly cooked. We also tried the pork gyoza appetizer, a side order of noodles, miso soup, and salad. Everything was good! I will definitely come back.

The sushi is ok, but the service is super slow and bad too. I have tried this place 2X now with same results. If you want sushi, just go to Publix next door. They charge $5 for a domestic beer...seriously???
