Very disappointed. This is my second time visiting the restaurant only to find out it is closed. Their google status shows that they are open every day until 9 PM. The first time I came on a weekday at 8 PM and they happened to close early. I was eager to try their vegetarian food since the menu seemed to have a variety of options. Despite being closed the first time, I came again today, a Sunday, at 2 PM only to see signs on the store saying it's closed today due to staff shortage. It's outrageous that I drove almost an hour here each time only for it to be closed.

Before I say anything negative, I would like to state that Ike's has what I would call the greatest sandwich I've ever eaten. I absolutely love this place. I live 30 minutes away and will happily make the drive, but when I arrive and the store is closed during operating hours, it makes me think twice before visiting again. The store is extremely understaffed, causing the food to take long, the store to close at LEAST an hour early, and to completely close on sundays, making it hard for me to justify going. If the store were to hire a few more employees, I would be the first to give this store a five star rating, but as of now, I can hardly justify driving anything over 10 minutes for the risk of the store being open in the first place.

Under sized portions, orders are not correct. Only one employee and it takes forever to get your food. Go to Publix and get a better sandwich where it won't be messed up.

Like previous reviewers have mentioned, the trash people that work here have zero professionalism and yell that they can’t hear you because of your mask (which they do not wear btw). No masks or gloves and on their phones and AirPods the entire time you’re ordering. Absolutely amazed how horrible the service was.

Please be aware that they do not accept Doordash even though they have an active account. It took me like 10 minutes to get full refund from the app.

It's so difficult to place an order here. language barriers aside, everytime I've called it seemed like I was talking to some one who was working for the first time. I literally had to repeat my order 5 times, each time emphasizing every vegan item and it felt like she wasn't even listening. I even ended the call with "please make sure everything is vegan" I left a good review, got home and my order had real bacon in it. The first few times we overlooked the difficulty of placing an order bc the sandwiches were good but after this incidence, I'm questioning if they Mayo or the cheese was vegan every time I've ordered. Why have 'can be made vegan' if the employees aren't even gonna listen to you after making you painfully repeat yourself.
This place has very good Sandwiches ‼️ I had the Steph Curry sandwich in picture shown sooo good ‼️ all their sandwiches are named after celebrity’s

The food here is always great but I have a small problem with the professionalism of the employees. This woman was talking on her personal cell phone while taking my order and continued to use her phone even while she filled up my drink from the soda fountain. It’s like she refused to put the phone down for anything. Also no mask and no gloves. Really?I use my cell phone at work sometimes too but there’s a limit, especially when there’s a customer involved. I’ve never seen it really busy at this place so by all means use your phone when nobody is there but to have your own personal conversation at the same time that you’re taking my order, and then to have your face glued to the phone while you’re filling up my drink? She asked me 3 different times what I wanted to drink.Other than that I love the food here, it’s tasty and satisfying. Just please try to train the crew a little better.

First visit to an Ike's. It was outside seating, which was fine. Place is a bit stark inside and had only one employee. I had the Matt Cain sub and it was extremely good! I went with the world famous Dutch bread - don't know what this is but it was out of this world delicious! The sandwiches are good size but they are also fairly expensive at $12. Still, one of the beat subs I've had in a while so I'm looking forward to a return visit!
