I made reservations for a omakase experience. But after getting seated at the counter, the service did not come check in on us. We did not receive water for 20 minutes. We had to flag down the waitress to ask if they knew we were getting the omakase and was told that food comes out as it's ready for that experience. The omakase was just ok. It's not a Japanese experience. The service ruined the whole dinner.
Food was amazing! I had no issues except when it came to dessert. We got the Almond Delirious. Before we ordered we asked the server to explain what it was. She stated it was an ice cream base with chocolate and almonds on top with a chocolate crust. However when we got the dessert it was not an ice cream base but chocolate mousse. In fact two layers of mousse and no ice cream whatsoever. That was very disappointing as I do not like mousse. So this kind of ruined the dessert portion...
I had such a wonderful experience dining here! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. Every dish was fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor — you can tell the kitchen really cares about quality and detail.
