Best ribs in highlands. county.

We’ve never actually eaten at Famous Flames. We always order takeout! Never disappointed with the food! The only problem I have with this restaurant? It isn’t open every day!!

Good place to get ya greens and peppersauce.

I've had a lot of bbq. I love bbq. I know bbq.... This is a solid 10/10. The house made sauces are 10. Whomever the pitmaster is, they're on Point. I literally plan my trips to Sabring on the days they're open just so I can get it.

My husband and I have eaten here several times and we both love the food, quick service and the friendly servers. I highly recommend this restaurant. Our favorites are the Beef Brisket and the Ribs.!! So glad we found Mr. Brown's restaurant when we moved to Avon Park 8 months ago.

This was a meal that we can’t quit thinking about!! My husband, daughter and I shared a a full rack of ribs, a whole chicken, and a pound of brisket… a lá carte. It was all amazing!!! The service was amazing and eating in the tiny little hole in the wall restaurant just added to the whole experience. Can’t wait to visit this area so we can eat there again!!

Man oh man!! It was such a nice treat to go back home and indulge in some good ol back home bbq. Last Friday, my team and I worked avon park to help the community out after the storm with glass damages and we stopped through Mr Browns good ol country fashioned BBQ, and my team was not disappointed. We all left there with full bellies and over stimulated taste buds lol. And the collards, lord have mercy the collard greens 💚 😋. Keep being great Mr Brown!!!! Stay blessed ☺️
