Maxwell Groves Country Store

I'm afraid we won't be returning . The prices are already too high and today I learned you no longer sell cake cones and the waffle cones for $6 hold even less ice cream . Other customers have taken note :(. Please reconsider . There is such a thing as driving away good customers .

Whenever I come to this part of Florida I have to stop at Maxwell's to get some of their creamsicle soft serve ice cream. Creamsicles where my dad's favorite ice cream and this one hits the mark it's just the best

Cool place to visit and drink a fresh orange juice, they got a store with honey and many cool things and souvenirs, they even got gator poop lol
The outside area it’s fun, they got two cornhole sets

Our family drove 2hrs just for their ice cream. It's bright, flavorful, and creamy and served in generous portions. This is a locally owned business. The service is excellent. The owners want it to be more of a local business rather than just for tourists and it's a great idea

Maxwell House groves is not a restaurant. They serve a variety of hard dip ice cream. The signature ice cream is orange creamsicle. It is the best orange creamsicle soft serve ice cream I have ever had. It has a very fresh orange taste. You can purchase oranges and they will even ship them. There is a gift shop, a porch with rocking chairs to sit and eat your ice cream and an entertainment bar with a few video games. It is not a place where you would spend hours but is nice place for a quick visit.

Unbelievably rude person behind the counter. She was hateful, very abusive. My daughter and I were excited to go with my grandsons and have ice cream but the whole experience was ruined. We had never experienced such unprofessional abusive behavior. Every single item we asked about or tried to order she responded so aggressive and nasty. We have no desire to ever go back.

My family placed an order for ice cream however needed to cancel. Once I called a sweet lady said that a refund was just fine so she confirmed that she would and hung up. a few minutes later I received a phone call from a man who was not very nice to say the least. Ripped me a new one about how it was not ok that we had to cancel, they took the time to prep it and so I needed to come and get it. We ended up canceling our plans that day to come and pick up ice cream and get yelled at. Mind u it was only for a gallon of ice cream. The entire thing was petty but very sad to have a store and call your customers to yell at them over the phone. I would have even been fine with only getting half a refund.

I love this cute little country store and the family that owns it. I’ve been going there for over five years now. The first things I fell in love with were the front porch/swing and their Homemade Orange swirl ice cream ? Then their fruit wines and mixes ?. This past year or so I’ve participated in some parties under their huge barn (they even offer services to help with your party ?) and at the back of the store, omg! it’s huge back there to set up some tents for parties or cookouts and even a small platform for a band!!Ya gotta go visit and check it out! At least to get some of that delicious ice cream ?and chill on the porch. Love it love it love it!?
