this place was beyond amazing. from the minute we walked in we were greeted friendly and seated immediately. the waitress came right away and asked what drinks we would like. we ordered and food came and omg so delicious flavorful and fresh. some of the best homemade corn tortillas i’ve had in fl. literally not a single complaint about this establishment. small family owned business that definitely has my business from now on. will be back soon.update. just left there and won’t be coming back. margaritas had absolutely no liquor in it or very minimal. food was trash tonight we had the same waitress tonight and she was friendly and sweet. won’t be coming back. skillet for fajitas came cold as well as chicken was barely cooked

Senor Jalapeno was one of the first places my husband and I tried when we relocated to Sebring and it didn't disappoint. I had a mango margarita which was the best I've had in a long time. The food was stellar. I don't typically like refried beans but I ate all of them this time around. If you haven't been here, give it a chance for sure!

The food was outstanding, but when it came time to pay, I gave the server my card and she took it to the front then came back and handed the card reader to me for my pin, (which I have never had to use my pin at a restaurant). I left her a more than 25% tip, got my receipt and we left. I didn't even make it to my car when a fraud alert came in for my card that I had just used. The server stole my card info and proceeded to spend my hard earned money. Thankful Gusto stopped her in her tracks, but sadly she stopped me because my card was locked so i didn't have any access to my money so i has to cancel my Christmas plans. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

They are theives, they stole my wife's bank card info and tried to use it for online shopping not 3 minutes after we left there the other night. Luckily her bank stopped the purchase but it automatically locked her card and now we have to wait till after Christmas to get it replaced. I would never advise anyone to go there because a generous tip isn't enough I guess. And no, our card wasn't left anywhere but the bank can track it back to what device and where it was used especially if it was on a wifi router. Funny that the girls had just heard my wife say that her pay goes on that card when she used it there. What it amounts to is that we will never go there again and we will advise anyone else who we know to do the same!

My dad absolutely loves this place, but I don't see why. The food wasn't good either time I went. First, I got fajitas, and it was super disappointing. The meat had next to no seasoning, no beans or rice, and the tortillas were tiny and served in aluminum foil. The second time, I got some burrito that my dad likes, but it was super dry, next to no rice, and again, the meat had next to no seasoning. As you come into the building, bugs drive down on you, and there are bugs all over the front.

Awesome food, fantastic drinks, the cheesy jalapeño fries are amazing, service is great, and price is very reasonable. This place should be packed but it's not because of its location, which is right on the water with a boat launch right there. It's a 15 min drive from South Sebring. Everyone goes to the Sebring restaurants only because they don't realize Senor Jalapeño is just a few minutes north on Hwy 27. We have tried every Mexican restaurant around & Senor Jalapeño is hands down the best Mexican Restaurant in Central Florida.Parking: Lots of parking. Can even bring your boat & fish for a bit, dock & eat, then fish some more.Kid-friendliness: This is a great place to bring the whole family. They even play sports in two big screen tvs.
We sat and no one acknowledged we were there for a good 15 minutes and we were only 1 of 4 tables. The guy who sat us seemed to be the host, bar tender, and server most of the time while all the young ladies just walked on by. Our server finally arrived and she was nice but the food was not great. I personally would not recommend this place.
Has all the good stuff.. chips ,salsa, cheese, tortillas,but very plain. Beans, and rice. Are good. In a pinch if you're craving Mexican food. It's okay. But have had much better.
