La Gourmandise - St. Regis Bal Harbour

The "host" was confused when we said we had a reservation- it was literally just tables placed around their bakery display not really a restaurant. My coq au vin was dry as can be. way over cooked and it felt like it was the place that leftovers go. Not the experience we are used to at a St. Regis.

They didn't seem ready for our reservation, so it took about an hour after our reservation time to get seated, but the afternoon tea and food was lovely and it was a lovely setting. Wish it was better handled.

Love the Afternoon Tea experience . Our server was wonderful. Tea was great and food was absolutely delicious. She explained everything we received in detail. Answered all our questions and very attentive.

WOW! WOW! WOW! What an amazing experience this was! My sister and I went to the St. Regis for a spa appointment and wanted to try out the afternoon tea. Our waitress, Mihaela, was exceptional!!! We told her the different flavors that we like and she recommended which teas for us to have; she was spot on every time! The afternoon tea is absolutely an experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderfully relaxing time and make sure that you have Mihaela as your waitress! She made the entire experience that much more enjoyable! The restaurant is overlooking the ocean and wedding arches inside of the stunning St. Regis hotel. Start planning your trip now to have afternoon tea! Make sure to make a reservation because they make the pastries fresh for each guest coming in! And always ask for Mihaela if you want to have a perfect time!

The afternoon tea was amazing. Each course was delicious and the selection of teas was fantastic. We loved the “bird cage” presentation of the desserts - very unique. Live piano music as well as views of the ocean were spectacular. Our server, Mihaela, was outstanding! Could not fault her - professional, friendly and went above and beyond.

We went for afternoon tea celebrating my daughter's birthday. Exceptional service was probably the most outstanding part, but the food and presentation were at a level so high, it is difficult to compare to anything around here. It was a special experience.

As always we had the most wonderful time at La Gourmandise. We went for my mom's birthday and she was so impressed with the high tea experience. The new menu, “cherry blossom” was divine. It was so fun to try the surprising blend of flavors with each course and the aesthetic was so well crafted. The live piano was so nice and the pianist even played Happy Birthday for my mom. It was really a perfect moment that added to the day. And then there is Mikayla! She is the absolute best! She makes our experience so much better every single time with her incredible personality and service. We always look forward to seeing her. She is a huge part of why we go back! The whole day was just fantastic. We will 100% be back.

Absolutely wonderful high tea today. Unbelievably accommodating! We not only requested one Gluten Free and one Vegetarian, but also requested no truffle, goat cheese or mushrooms! Blown away by the individually prepared scones, petite sandwiches and desserts. Our server Mihaela was superb! So pleasant and delightful. 5 stars-well worth the splurge!

We came for a birthday and it was very nice. Mihaela was super friendly and genuinely happy to make our experience special. Mihaela explained about the tea service and the different teas to us. The scones were excellent as were the tea sandwiches. Dessert was over the top. Excellent experience, I will be back.

I had an incredible, life-changing experience at this Dinner Under the Stars meal. That's no exaggeration as this is my first time dining on the beach with the sunsetting in the west and its rays lighting up the early eastern evening moon as Sabrina my server provided incredible service for me and my date Ms. Minx!! I still have the taste of the Herb Crusted Chilean Bass in my mouth and have to research what green cheese layered the bass and how. A 5-Star××××× Experience.
