Waitress was great- Very friendly and accomodating. We got a pick 3 to try frog legs. Fun atmosphere, good bathrooms. The fried shrimp and clams were great.
If you're going to serve seafood, it should be good.
We won't come back.

We stopped in on our way back home from Bok Gardens. Pleasantly surprised at the size of diner. Food was delicious and plentiful. Service was fantastic. I was surprised at how detailed the servers clean each booth after diners leave. They clean all hanging decor and pulled seats out to clean behind seats as well. We will definitely return when we come back to the area.

Grouper Sandwich was on a Nasty McDonalds style bun. Overcooked dry grouper essentially made us ill. Crab used in crab cakes were obviously out of a can. Lunch for 2 for $70. Server was excellent, she should be working at a real establishment. Beware. Horrific Sea Food at its worse. Ugh.

OMG! I absolutely LOVE the Krabby Cakes here - honestly, that's my go-to. But from the Sampler Platter, I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, fried claim strips, & the wings. That's not to say the fried pickles, fried onion rings, & fried corn fritters aren't good... they are just outshined by the others - hmm, it's all so good! Also, if you're a gator-lover (like me), you MUST try the Alligator Nuggets. They are so good, you don't even need a dipping sauce! Finally, I must confess, I'm NOT a catfish lover... there are only a few places where I'd eat my Catfish & this is definitely on the list - kudos to you guys, that's a hard list to get on, but you're on it now...
One more thing - I absolutely LOVE the decor. It's Southern Country style that just makes you feel like you're at home. So clean & comfortable, I almost took a nap.
So if you're in the mood for some Southern Comfort food, get yourself to Catfish Country Restaurant & treat yourself to some good eat'n!

Catfish Country Restaurant is one of the best places around for Southern-style comfort food. The catfish is the star — perfectly seasoned, fried just right, and served hot every single time. Their sides, especially the hush puppies and coleslaw, taste like real homemade cooking.
The service is warm and welcoming, and even when the place is busy, the staff stays attentive. The atmosphere feels cozy and local, like a classic Florida country restaurant. Good portions, fair prices, and consistently delicious meals. If you’re craving fresh catfish or classic Southern dishes, this is the spot!

I was born and raised here and live down the road from here. I have been here more than Id care to admit over the years. Today was the absolute worst experience from all ends of this scope. Ordered the sirloin medium. Cut into it and it starts bleeding from a very ruby red center. Not medium. Another ordered the tips well done. Cut into several which started bleeding. Another ordered the grouper. Wasnt done with a bad fishy taste (honestly tasted more like snapper) and very over seasoned. Had to ask the asian server 4 times for a condiment that she kept forgetting. Place wasnt even busy. I dont know if the ownership has changed but I wont be returning. $24 for half cooked grouper...$20 for undercooked sirlion...$21 for undercooked steak tips and a over cooked rubbery grouper sandwhich.
