“Out-of-towner happy to have landed at Zest for a late, Sunday afternoon lunch on a day trip to tour Bartow's interesting Wonder House, with quick, unplanned visits to the L.B. Brown House Museum and the Bartow History Center. Located on a side street a couple of blocks from the old town square Zest has a quiet, unassuming appearance with off-street parking and an outside, covered dining patio. Inside seating includes booths, tables and the bar in a large, high-ceilinged, sort of dimly lit dining area with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Our server Regan, (I think was her name) was efficient, and attentive and just right friendly. Our food - we both had fish and chips with cole slaw - was excellent - the slaw was good - chunky cut with vinegar-based dressing rather than mayo-based, medium cut fries and the fish were very good - tender and crisp (the fish lightly battered). Definitely would be a repeat customer if I was a local. Planning to return to Bartow for a scheduled tour of the L.B. Brown House and to explore more of the History Center and it will be hard to decide whether to try a different restaurant or to return here where we really enjoyed the service, the meal and the space.”

“I had dinner with my family here to celebrate a birthday. The food and atmosphere was very good. I had the chicken marsala dish with risotto. My food was flavorful and overall very good. The service was excellent. Our server could not have been nicer. I highly recommend giving Tua Pasta a try!”

“We met family from out of town at this Ruby Tuesday on 11/16/24 and I have to say we had great service from the minute we walked in the door! Our table was ready for us and we were seated immediately, we didn’t have to wait for all of our party to arrive before being seated like so many other restaurants make you do. Our server was so friendly and provided us with great service! Our food was brought out at the same time and was not cold and all looked so good! The food was delicious!! I had mashed potatoes, broccoli and hickory chicken and I have to say it was the best restaurant meal I have had in a long time. My husband had the French onion chicken dinner and again it was delicious! My Mother had the hickory pork chop dinner and the pork chop was huge and thick and cooked perfectly too! My cousins all enjoyed their food too and some of us had dessert too!! We cannot thank you all enough at this restaurant and location for such amazing service and food!! Thank you so much! Keep up the great work!!”

This place is off the side of the road and a little hard to see, but the food is amazing! Super cute litle truck with beautiful decor and all the greenery is well maintained and lush. Super inviting. Everything is also made fresh as you wait.”

“I previously primarily went to the local Hungry Howie's here in Bartow because it was close and inexpensive. I knew Marcos was only 2 minutes further down the road, so one day I decided to give them a try. I honestly haven't been back to Hungry Howie's in 5 months. The cost is very comparable in comparison.

But what makes this establishment so steller and why I made this place my go to pizza place is.....

The food, the prices, the cleanliness, the staff is friendly and outgoing and I have not once have had a order wrong. One thing I noticed which I thought was pretty amazing, buying a 16 ounce bottled soft drink here is roughly a dollar cheaper than a convenient store.

My favorite pizza style is their thin crust "The Works" with extra cheese and black olives. I'm pretty sure I order here at least every 7 to 15 days. Everything I have ever ordered has been perfect.

The Pizza is always top notch, the Sandwiches and Salads are fresh and filling, the Breadsticks are always a hit, the Buffalo and Parmisan style wings are addictive and hearty and not dinky....ahem.. I'm talking about you, Hungry Howie's.

Lastly, one of my friends was over recently and I ordered my favorite pie, He said that he had a late lunch and wasn't very hungry.....he ended up having like four slices lol. Then as he was leaving he downloaded the app and placed an order. I think he's a regular now too!

The best thing about this place above everything else, they're so fast. Normally when I place a order through the app, it's usually ready in about 12-15 minutes.

“This location is good, but just want to say, one of your employees just tried to start a fight with me at the gas pump while in Firehouse uniform. I pumped gas, and then had to go inside and wait in line for my receipt, when i get back to my car, she is mad and questioning me on why my car was at the pump. Kicking up a fuss and threatening over nothing. Probably not the best public image, since she was in uniform and either going to or leaving work. She sucks, but your location is great!”

“Unfiltered is the best coffee shop in the state! Their coffees and matcha is delicious, the atmosphere is so mystical and calming, and the owner is just a delight! Check it out for won’t regret it!”

“First thing is they have great drinks, lots of craft cocktails and beer at good prices. Secondly, they’re very community oriented and I love going to try the food trucks they feature every day. Everyone we’ve met there has been super friendly and welcoming as well. Lastly, and my favorite thing, they’re super dog friendly! As long as your pup is well behaved and doesn’t create a ruckus they’re more than welcome to come inside up to the bar so you and your best friend can enjoy the ac. I’ve brought two of my pups there so far and they love it!”

The journey your tastebuds go on, from the first bite to the last, is one everyone strives to experience when dining out. Not only is their food outstanding, but their customer service is excellent. For example, during Hurricane Milton, they were there for this community. When all of us were at home readying our homes for the storm, the staff remained at work to ensure everyone had access to a hot meal. When all of us were sitting without power, worrying about storm damage and cleaning up, the staff served our community with hot meals. This is going over and beyond in so many ways. I will be a forever client of this establishment due to their high-quality food and how they care about the communities they serve. We recently bought a home less than two miles from one of their locations. I am not exaggerating when I tell you I eat here five days a week, sometimes more. We volunteer at Bartow Middle School 3-4 days a week. What do the teachers and staff ask us to get when there? The lake house. Please stop by and allow your senses to fall in love with this hidden gem. Let’s support small businesses like this that serve our community so well.”

I got a breakfast burrito, and he even added onions and tomatoes so it was a bit more substantial. It's definitely not a fancy place, but I was supposed with the hospitality I received. “That was some excellent service definitely one of the best waffle houses I’ve ever been to the day of my life. I just worked a 10 hour shift and got me the hash brown bowl with double meat, bacon and eggs and some sausage. They gave me fresh lemonade, and the atmosphere was very welcoming, and I must say the cook really outdid himself I believe his name was Roy on the stove like I’ve never seen anyone ever before in my life. He flipped the eggs so I did not think it was real and I think he might’ve even gave me an extra egg on my hash brown bowl I just hope they don’t take that off his check because I believe an extra egg is $1.25+ tax but other than that waffle House experience I ever had in my life might have to go back next Tuesday, but that’s only if Roy is cooking”
