“I was in for jury duty so I thought I'd get something to eat. I'm a vegetarian, and the man working took extra care in making sure my food was meat free. I got a breakfast burrito, and he even added onions and tomatoes so it was a bit more substantial. It's definitely not a fancy place, but I was supposed with the hospitality I received. If I'm ever back in the courthouse, I'll definitely stop by.“

“I am a Starbucks lover but after being recommended to Richards I loveee loveee loveee this coffee shop wayyy more! I definitely recommend the white mocha coffee and the turkey pesto! Sweet and friendly environment even has an outside patio that is adorable! This is definitely the place and environment I want to be at!“

“Black & Brew has been a local favorite of mine for over eight years now. I’ve always had a positive experience at any of their locations with great food and customer service. Special shout-out to the south side location today and those working the drive-through! Highly recommend ordering the “pick 2” and trying the pesto chicken sandwich and caesar salad or strawberry praline salad.“

“First time here. Place was clean. Staff was friendly and made me think they were happy that I was there. French vanilla latte and the french toaster sandwich. Vibe is nice. Shop itself has a modern but warm feeling. Decent seating. I recommend!“

“Was in town watching dogs for someone, and saw that this place A) exists and B) has cheesesteaks. I will try a cheesesteak anywhere, even if gunfire is happening around me. Thankfully, this restaurant is in a no fire zone. But for this sandwich, it would be worth the risk and the added expense of kevlar. I kid you not, their “Awesome Philly Sub” is that and more. I can’t remember eating a better cheesesteak in 2 decades, and I’ve most certainly tried. Two thumbs up isn’t quite enough… I’ll have to borrow some extra thumbs from my enemies to add to the score. Highly recommended! And I’m a cheesesteak snob… they conquered my appetite and I’ll most definitely be back when I’m out this way again. If you live in Lakeland and love sandwiches and HAVEN’T TRIED THIS PLACE, you are missing out and are making a bald eagle cry. I can’t prove that second one, but it sounds legit.“

“It's always a pleasure going here. Staff (I'm pretty sure she's the owner) is always welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
We've had several things off the menu, but I keep coming back to the banh mi saigon. It's my favorite.
It was delicious as usual on this visit.
Gray opted for a banh mi as well and said it was tasty also.
We've had the spring rolls and the summer rolls -- the spring rolls are always hot and crispy. The summer rolls are always fresh and nicely chilled. We decided to try the onion rings. While not our favorite style of onion rings, they arrived at the table hot and crispy.
We also get boba just about every time we come. Always a treat.
The sweetness and ice level can be adjusted to your liking - they're always happy to accommodate.“
