“Let's start this by saying, I'm Italian, I'm from long Island and I was a chef. This place is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is very cozy. The attention from our server was outstanding. And then there is the food. I was brought back to my grandmother's cooking. Mind you, she is from Italy. The portions were large and, i are everything (i shouldn't have but, i couldn't stop). And then the desert, and I ate all of that as well. Would i recommend her? Well, I would almost consider not cooking and just eating here.“

“The food is always amazing! I came in and I got a server I have had before, but not often. Maybe one other time? I think she’s newer is why. I come in somewhat regularly. Maybe once, sometimes a couple of times a month. Anyway I sit down and she immediately recognized me as a tea drinker, which I am. She remembered that I had a unsweetened tea last time I was in. I was floored! She says servers don’t get many customers ordering tea. I was still impressed! She even came up with a suggestion to try the works omelette as a frittata next time. She was outstanding! Some of the best service I have had in a while. I usually get pretty good service when I actually go out to eat, which hasn’t been that common lately. “I stopped in to get a honey dew milk tea, it’s delicious but the service was even better, very family friendly everyone is so kind. I’ll definitely be back my niece received some of the mochi waffles and they are DELICIOUS, she enjoyed them so much. We can’t wait to come back. “This review is for whatever girl was working the shift on Friday 7/31 at around 12pm to 12:30pm by herself (sorry I didn’t get your name). She was working by herself, drive through line full, inside full and she still greeted me and my daughter with an extremely pleasant demeanor, ATTEMPTED to make something for me she didn’t even know how to do & went to the back to look for the doggie popsicles to see if they were in stock, etc.

You have the patience of a saint & idk if you enjoy your line of work or not but you’re extremely good at it cause I would have been crashing out tbh. Even with everything going on, she remained calm and took control of what could have been a chaotic situation (for example, closing the drive through and asking people to place orders inside instead [hope I’m not getting you into trouble but to me this is a sign of excellent leadership skills]).

Anywho, good customer service skills are rare these days and that girl deserves a raise. Even my 13 year old commented on it & that girl don’t pay attention to anything lol

The food is always filling, flavorful, and consistent, the pricing is fair, and Tarek himself is always either in the back making the food or up front interacting with customers with a positive attitude. The cafeteria is also spacious and a great study spot while you eat. I got the chicken Caesar wrap and my friend got the Cuban sandwich, both were delicious!“

“I absolutely Love Candor Grille ! I watched & waited for it to open as our options are a bit limited living in Fishhawk. I am a foodie & moved here in March. Yeah. Not many options. At all. So when Candor opened, I was running in. My main problem usually is that I am a vegetarian & I am usually stuck eating a salad or sides. Their sides & apps are delicious however. I was over the moon to see they had the Impossible Burger. (& this isn't the same Impossible Burger you get at Burger King guys). This is a thick & juicy burger that you order however you want. Rare, medium, etc * AMAZING! * Not only have they Always been more than accommodating to my needs, they also are accommodating to your dogs needs ! SAY WHAT ? Yes, that's right they have a dog menu & ample space for you & your FurBaby to dine comfortably on the patio. Major bonus points as most of the residents around the FishHawk area have dogs. The owner is such a down to earth guy. Just the right amount of chill mixed in with the right amount of restaurant savvy knowledge. Always available if you have a question about the menu etc. Actually entire staff is amazing & I’ve been coming here since it opened. I’m not sure why some other diners didn’t have the same great service as I did? If you came & had mixed feelings I would urge you to give it another try. All restaurants have a few bumps in the beginning, as far as I can tell, they are on the ball. I can honestly say I’ve never left without a smile on my face. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere & an amazing staff. To me, Candor is the type of place “Where everybody knows your name” with Major class.“

John the bartender is an absolute rockstar and gem .The filthy martini and espresso martinis( i ordered one dark and one creamy) were all phenomenal .I ordered the scallop special with polenta.Fresh U-8 scallops with polenta and vegetables.The picture does not do it justice.It tasted wven better than it looked The spaghetti and meatballs is a consistent win.I was really impressed by the food and service“
