“Listen, Mangos will not disappoint. I got the turkey legs and gravy, yellow rice, green and Mac n cheese. Everything was good but the turkey leggggs was fire. Priced very well, and it is two meals. Ms. Maria was the cherry on top. She made us feel like we was eating at our mom's or Auntie's house. Everytime I'm in Tampa, I will stop by Mangos.“

“Owners and their son are ALWAYS super friendly. They recognize their regulars which is always nice. The food is hot, fresh, delicious, and they customize for your needs. I usually order the same thing but today I tried the chorizo breakfast bowl (mixed in some sauteed brussel sprouts for a little razzle-dazzle!) and WOW it was so good, will probably be my new go-to. I wish nothing but the best for this cozy slice of Cafe heaven. Expansion is definitely in their future as they are becoming more and more popular!“

“Best boba place near USF! They have the best popcorn chicken I’ve ever had! The seasoning is perfect—crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. It's always served hot and fresh, making it an irresistible snack or meal. I highly recommend ordering extra Thai Chili sauce, really adds extra flavor to the dish. It pairs wonderfully with their drinks too!“

“Wandered into this boba spot the day I moved back. It's in a large plaza next to cicis pizza. They have a giant menu board. I asked to make sure they had Thai tea, and they did. They do offer dairy alternatives. But if you're like me and carry lactaid, you can just have the regular version. They do offer other various teas there as well. I was talking to the cashier about cosplay because I saw a flyer on the counter for an event they were hosting. They said that if anyone wanted to host a cosplay event there, it would be free. So it's definitely something to keep in mind in the future. They were super nice. I hope to go back soon since they have a loyalty club and for so many, you get a free boba.“

“Good latte, priced similar to other place. They added a self serve water station, which is a welcome addition. I like the atmosphere and that they open early (7 am). When I walked in about 5 minutes after submitting my order via the app they seemed unaware of my order, until I told them In ordered on the app. They had one other customer, who already had his drink. And I did not care for their chocolate chip cookie. I took one bite and threw it away. I cannot recall ever not liking a chocolate chip cookie, but this one had almost an oatmeal cookie consistency, I could not taste the chocolate, and it had a sort of artificial taste to it. Maybe it was made with wheat flower? Not sure what made it so unappealing.“

“We stopped in here by happenstance for lunch and we’re so happy we did!! The food was SO fresh and tasty!! The Prosciutto panini was so wonderfully flavorful that I bought a second one to go! We also had the strawberry salad, a breakfast croissant and bowl of fruit and ALL were so flavorful and the best part second only to the flavor of amazing goodness is that the serving sizes were enough to pleasantly satisfy without leaving you feeling stuffed!! “I want to grab coffee and Cuban bread for breakfast. I'm never in that area but thought I'd check it out as I was passing through. Walking in, it felt like a cozy Cafe that I'd probably go to with my friends for coffee. The weight staff was very pleasant and quickly took my order to go. The coffee was a little weaker than the other Caribbean places I have visited. However, the Cuban bread was tasty and perfectly buttered. Overall I'd go back again.“

Monday thru Friday they serve lunch to the displaced, homeless and anyone who needs a got meal no questions lines, registration needed or asked! Doors open at 1130-12:15 please come in take a seat anywhere you’d like and volunteers like me would serve you based on the menu for the day! Thanks to Feeding TampaBay for this awesome cafe. “Been craving for a buffalo chicken wrap. Checked this place out since it’s literally one of the very few places to grab lunch around the way from the business offices in the area. I’m glad I came to check them out it was so good. I’m glad I was able to place my order for pick up to still have plenty of time to drive back to work and eat it without being rushed to go back in. Wish I knew about this place sooner. Will definitely be trying other foods from the menu real soon.

“It would be unfair to compare any bagel to those you would find in New York, they are simply in different leagues. Very good bagel sandwich with the perfect amount of chew. Pete’s ybor location is very eclectic and in a quiet neighborhood.

The everything bagel was not lacking for seasoning, very flavorful and the American cheese suits it perfectly. I would order cream cheese on it as well to add to the moist factor. They only had impossible sausage on the menu, which is strange as a SEC > BEC in my opinion.

The drink menu is very small which was a bummer, was hoping to have a chai tea latte with our breakfast. I will definitely be back as it is in a convenient location and very easy access by bicycle. Pete’s gets very close to 5 stars but the lack of wow factor holds it back.“

“It was the peak of October 2012 and I was just on my new medication at the food court. Virtually everything was closed after my shift at Macys. I don’t remember who but a Wonderful Young Female Owner or Clerk offered me her noodles and rice or something for a discounted price…. It literally saved my life possibly bc I was about to faint because I needed food. “I absolutely Love Candor Grille ! I watched & waited for it to open as our options are a bit limited living in Fishhawk. I am a foodie & moved here in March. Yeah. Not many options. At all. So when Candor opened, I was running in. My main problem usually is that I am a vegetarian & I am usually stuck eating a salad or sides. Their sides & apps are delicious however. I was over the moon to see they had the Impossible Burger. (& this isn't the same Impossible Burger you get at Burger King guys). This is a thick & juicy burger that you order however you want. Rare, medium, etc * AMAZING! * Not only have they Always been more than accommodating to my needs, they also are accommodating to your dogs needs ! SAY WHAT ? Yes, that's right they have a dog menu & ample space for you & your FurBaby to dine comfortably on the patio. Major bonus points as most of the residents around the FishHawk area have dogs. The owner is such a down to earth guy. Just the right amount of chill mixed in with the right amount of restaurant savvy knowledge. Always available if you have a question about the menu etc. Actually entire staff is amazing & I’ve been coming here since it opened. I’m not sure why some other diners didn’t have the same great service as I did? If you came & had mixed feelings I would urge you to give it another try. All restaurants have a few bumps in the beginning, as far as I can tell, they are on the ball. I can honestly say I’ve never left without a smile on my face. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere & an amazing staff. To me, Candor is the type of place “Where everybody knows your name” with Major class.“
