Giving two stars Only cause the service was great. The older lady at the window was as sweet as she can be but the food INEDIBLE. got a crispy fish sandwich and it was like a rubber band. Everything besides the fries was well over cooked. We will have to cook dinner cause we don't live close to this Bartow location.

Dear Checkers Management,
I am writing to share my experience during my visit to store number 5173 on Sunday. I was instructed by the drive-through attendant to wait for my order in a handicap parking spot. However, upon doing so, I was confronted by an employee named Dax, who yelled and swore at me regarding my parking choice. I was unaware that the floor mats were being cleaned, which contributed to my misunderstanding.
Feeling mistreated and shocked by this interaction, I ultimately decided to cancel my order. I have never encountered such poor customer service at any establishment, and it was disheartening to be treated in this manner.
I hope you will address this issue to ensure better service in the future.
FYI, this is a fast food operation, not fine dining. I got what I was hoping for and more. I went on Sunday the 10th of November 2024. The staff were very efficient and friendly and made sure that I got what I wanted so I would be a happy customer. It was my first visit to a Checkers and I’m not local, so I’m sure I sounded totally bizarre to the staff when I worked through my order. They were great with me anyway. And not just the cashier, the man who prepared my hotdog helped out as well and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. I really enjoyed my hotdog! Honestly, I wish I had ordered 2. But I almost died when I had the fries. What do they prepare them in? So good. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be visiting the fine people at Checkers in Bartow. I was happy to spend hard earned $ with such fine people and yummy food. Thanks everyone !

I wouldn't feed this to my dog!!! Payed over $45.00 for cheeseburgers and got the most pathetic sandwich I've ever seen. I order from memorial Blvd every week and it's not first class but better than this trash burger I just got from Bartow. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE IF I HAVE TO EAT GRASS FROM THE MEDIAN IN FRONT OF THE "RESTAURANT" IF YOU CAN EVEN CALL IT THAT! I grew up eating at this place when it was worth a crap but never again so help me God! I will be getting ahold of headquarters in Tampa and the owner and I hope the doors are closed. What a joke
