It’s with a very heavy heart that I simply can not recommend this venue. I had my wedding there a few weeks ago. From the moment we paid our deposit, communication took weeks or not at all without reminders. We would have meetings where I’d be told I was going to be sent a certain thing within the next 48 hours and the thing would never come. It left me with a lot of anxiety.
Now let’s skip to day of - the timeline created in my timeline meeting went completely out the window. My wedding reception felt like rushing through the motions with one thing after another and the things meant to be fun were not. I can honestly say I did not enjoy it. I did contact them after the event and they said the dj was the one who railroaded the wedding. In my opinion, after great thought, even if he did ; my day of coordinator should have handled that.
The venue is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The food was delicious. The servers and bartenders couldn’t have been better. Which is why it’s so sad to say - I deeply regret having my wedding here. I’m so disappointed we are even planning a “happily ever after” party to be able to redo our failed rehearsal.

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at Idlewood Venue. It was a perfect experience for us. The venue staff and the event coordinating partner, Perfect Day Productions, were fantastic. Communication was good, especially using the project portal. We used their in-house bar and catering, all with rave reviews from our guests. If we had any critique, it would be that the cocktails were too strong. Not a terrible problem, but that would be it.

The event coordinator Dominique, quickly and patiently responded to every email or call, and guided me in choosing the perfect brunch menu that everyone loved. The guest thought the space was beautiful and commented on how warm and inviting the staff treated them. As the mother of the groom, my goal was to help the bride feel her vision for her dream wedding was complete. Our brunch was on a weekday so the price was lower than a weekend and fair. We did bring our own centerpieces, but even without the decorations, the space was beautiful! If I lived in the area I would use this venue again! Thank you Idlewood!
