The Original Mike's Grill

Extremely expensive 2 young teens and 2 adults 120.00 with tip. The chicken tenders dry and flavorless, the chicken fried chicken breading was plain flour and the chicken was so dry and thin breading flavorless. The Chicken Marsala was again chicken so thin it was like paper and flavorless, the Marsala noodles undercooked and the sauce tasted like vinegar only. The salad (cost extra) not sure how they screwed up ranch dressing but tasted like dill pickle and sour cream at best no ranch flavor and had the consistency of straight sour cream. The lack of any kind of bread or rolls was the not a good touch either. I can see why the place was empty on one of the busiest nights of the year for Bartow. WE WILL NEVER SUPPORT AGAIN! Within a half hour of eating our entire family was sick and fighting for bathrooms!!!!

place is revamped. new menu and new food choices. decent prices and friendly staff. come on in and check it out

went there yesterday for breakfast with my mother and my husband. Very friendly atmosphere!! The place looks great after the remodeling. Food came out fast, it was very tasty. Over all we had a great time. Will be back for sure !!!

Food was amazing , went for breakfast, no wait , comfortable seating and some great food . The bread was great, especially for the French toast, everything seemed homemade and definitely tasted like it , felt like grandmas breakfast.. good and feeling. Staff was friendly and was always checking on us . 5/5

I paid $9 for a Salad and they gave me lettuce and tomato with a drizzle of ranch dressing. No croutons, no cheese, no cucumbers, no onions and charged me $9!

Had a tasty & fresh burger & fries. It was perfect. Friendly staff. Bright, & open. Will definitely return. Also had fried mushrooms & some collard greens. Everything was delicious.

I will say they are very accommodating. We had a larger party size so I was amazed they took us in I reserved an hour or two ahead of time.

However, the food quality was not as great. I was extremely disappointed with my meal. My MIL is from Vegas and was disappointed as well.
I ordered chicken parm, while the chicken in and of itself was great. The sauce was watered down. Visibly watered down. The spaghetti had close to no sauce on it as well. No seasoning. If there was any meat in the sauce, it was very limited. The price point for the chicken parm is most certainly worth it in the slightest.
The fried mushrooms were great, my family loved the horseradish sauce.
The cheeseburgers appear as frozen patties that just get reheated, I would say the price point is fair ish for them. But definitely not what we expected.

Overall it was a decent experience, but I won’t go out of my way to come here again.

We found this place while driving over to Tampa and it sounded good. Well it was better than good and our server, Shanna was awesome. So friendly and sweet. She found out it was our first visit and went over the menu for us which we bc appreciated. She also recommended a few things on the menu. Overall the food was delicious and fresh and very big portions as well. The rolls and cinnamon butter are yummy too! We enjoyed everything, like the Mac n cheese, fried chicken and mashed potatoes . We left satisfied with full bellies! We definitely will be back on our way through the area again and will ask for Shanna again too!
