We love Sonnys curbside or inside. The rib special was half off so I got my plate for $9.. my kids loved their plates as well. I wish they still had the Salad bar bring that back!!
We ate here on the way back from Longboat Key. We had to wait a long time for our order and the food was cold and parts of the order were missing. The service staff was completely overwhelmed. All the orders at the next tables were also incorrect. I've never experienced anything like this at Sonny's.

Me and my grandson love the food there at Sonys..what we had ordered wasn't on the menu that shows on this review... but my grandson ordered a bacon burger with fries.. and I ordered a half a chicken with baked potato and mac and cheese... The food was excellent... The chicken was not dry it was juicy and tasted Great ??. And my grandson love the bacon cheeseburger and fries so much he got full and he just loved it and couldn't stop talking about it.. now that says a lot about my grandson.. we will be going again as much as we can.. everybody was good the place was clean.. the waitress who was training a young man they were awesome.. and very kind.. and always checked on us to see if we needed anything.., so yes we will definitely keep going back.. and we give it an 11 ♥️♥️❤️

This is our favorite date night restaurant. If you go at the right time it's not crowded the servers are awesome and the food is always great. And buy one get one beers, can't beat that.

I've been going here since they closed a location closer to home. This location is exceeds my expectations, from food to service. The redneck egg rolls are amazing and worth the drive!
Although business was slow the server seemed to be rushing us. She brought our check before we had a chance to order dessert then seemed upset when I asked for banana pudding and brought the pudding in a to go container in a brown bag. Never asked if we wanted to go drinks , nor did she offer a bag for our to go tray. We just felt unwelcome.

Went for a family dinner yesterday. 7 of us. The food was good. Our server,Dee, did a great job. She worked very hard at taking care of us. Very pleasant and very friendly. I write the following as a suggestion rather than a complaint. Bring the solid bar back. It is missed. We would like to come back on a regular basis, and that was a part of what brought us there. Other restaurants in town are bringing their salad bars back. It would be good if you did the same unless you got rid of it permanently. Another thing… your servers are very busy. Especially when the place has a lot of people. Maybe you should reconsider, allowing the client to pay upfront instead of leaving it to your servers. And I’ll tell you why. Your servers should not have to worry about taking care of the clients and at the same time ringing up the charges. When they’re very busy, your customers have to wait longer to get checked out. I learned that when I tried to save my server the extra time and went upfront to pay my bill and told I could not do so. That’s the service responsibility. Just a suggestion.
