I booked a reservation through the Tu Pasta Google Assistant on June 5th for our wedding anniversary dinner.
We were recommended by friends in Lakeland and we’re looking forward to a nice dining experience.
The reservation was confirmed for Wednesday; June 25th @ 6:30 PM.
I received an additional follow up reminder confirmation email on Tuesday, June 24th.
When my wife and I arrived at the restaurant for our dinner there was a paper sign posted on the door that stated the restaurant would be closed for one week beginning JUNE 25th‼️
As you can imagine we were stunned, as we NEVER received any type of notification that our reservation was cancelled!
Still to this day Tu Pasta does NOT accept voice mail messages‼️
Obviously the Tu Pasta management really “dropped the ball”, and turned our celebration dinner plans into a major disappointment.
Poor communication leads to customer frustration and dissatisfaction.
Not much else I can suggest for future patrons…

Not enough wait staff. The owner Was the only one taking orders. There was other ladies there but that were not utilized. Food was plentiful but the chicken Alfredo was not good. Not a lot of flavor. Once you have more than 4 tables the noise level is not good.

We had a great time there celebrating my mom's birthday! Large parties can be challenging for any restaurant, but our group of 12 was no issue for the staff (a reservation was made in advance 😏). The lasagna, chicken Parmesan, caesar salad & chicken fettuccine alfredo were all excellent. You absolutely need to give this place a try if you haven't. Tua Pasta is an absolute gem of the 'Tow!

We heard they fill up fast so we arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday and were the first ones there. It didn't take long for the quaint restaurant to seat most of the tables. The restaurant is very nicely done. The music was a bit loud. It was difficult to hear each other when everyone was having conversations.
Iced tea and sodas are $5 so we just stuck with water.
Calamari appetizer was ok, but nothing special.
The homemade bread was good; served with butter, oil and balsamic, but they just leave the oil and balsamic on the table for you to help yourself on your own plate. Usually there is a separate plate just for this.
Hubby had the chicken ravioli which was very good. I had the chicken parmesan which was also delicious. The chicken was so tender I could cut it with my fork. You can taste the freshness in the food. They boast that everything is made in house from scratch.
The service was friendly and prompt.
It was a good dinner, but $67 without beverages felt a bit much.

My Husband and I went out to eat tonight at Tua Pasta for our anniversary! I had a glass of Pinot Noir and after that a glass of Montepulciano italian wine. The wine was phenomenal-and the food even greater than we could have imagined! The service was amazing- every single part of our meal was tailored perfectly. We most certainly will be coming back!! Thank-you so much for our amazing meal and service. The best Italian meal we've had since traveling through Italy two years ago!!

This quaint small gem is incredible. The food is amazing and service is impeccable. Be sure and try the Eggplant fries....to die for. I rate this a 10+ (1-10).

I have read many great reviews about Tua Pasta in Bartow so I have had them on my list to try - well I was not disappointed - it was fantastic. They make their own pasta every morning fresh. The pasta is absolutely amazing - super tender and great flavor. Their pasta is definitely the best I have had since my last visit to Italy. We started with the fries ravioli with cheese filling, beautiful marinara sauce, perfectly fried and tender pasta. My wife had the Pappardelle Bolognese which she really enjoyed, again the pasta was the star. I had the Gamberi alla Scampi over perfect liniguini with butter, lemon and garlic sauce - I really am in love with this pasta and the sauce was outstanding - lemony with garlic and butter base. We finished with the Limoncello cake - light, sweet and full of flavor. Malena our server was excellent. There is no question we will be back - I can't wait. I highly recommend everyone make the trip to Bartow and enjoy this amazing fresh pasta. Sorry the pictures are a little dark as the lighting was very romantic.

🎉 Rounded up the 🔥 sexy, hawt wife, Gigi, and the 🍪 crumb snatcher 5000 after work today, and we set course for 🏙️ Main Street Bartow to finally celebrate Gigi’s 🎂 Birthday Dinner in style! 🍝 Watch out, Tua Pasta, here we come!! 🍷✨ 🎈 Gigi is ringing in her 29th birthday with a side of 48 years of experience! 🎊 (We love a timeless queen 👑). The 🔥 sexy wife and I would be absolutely 🚫🧭 lost without her endless love 💖 and support for the kiddos! So, of course, we had to make sure she was treated to a 🥇 five-star feast! 🍝 Backstory moment! I was the only one in our crew who had previously experienced the magic of Tua Pasta firsthand, so I was ecstatic to share this ✨ culinary treasure chest with the fam!! 🎉 Walking in, this place is like stepping into a 🇮🇹 rustic Italian dream! The decor? Straight-up Pinterest goals 💡. And guess what? They’ve got their very own 🚢 pasta machine imported from Italy, 🇮🇹 cranking out fresh, made-daily pasta. Talk about 💯 authenticity! While we sipped on our drinks 🍹 and tore into a basket of the most divine dinner rolls (and trust me, I’m basically a PhD in 🍞 carb sciences), we navigated the 🌟 abundant menu choices. 🍝 Here’s the lineup: • The Munchkinator ordered spaghetti 🍝 (6-year-old approved ✔️). • The queen of my heart 💕 went for ravioli stuffed with ricotta 🧀✨ (because she’s classy like that). • The Great Gigi 👑 and I twinned with orders of their meaty lasagna 🍖🧀, and because life’s too short, we also added a round of mozzarella sticks 🧀🟡-because, duh. 🗣️ Y’ALL, LISTEN!! I swear on everything that is 🙌 #EmojiMan 🦸‍♂️ - if you haven’t hit up Tua Pasta yet, can you even call yourself a 🍴 foodie? Have you truly experienced authentic Italian dining? I think not. 🚫🇮🇹 This spot is absolute top-tier greatness, and it’s right in our very own 🏠 downtown Bartow! When the plates were licked clean (because yes, they were THAT good), we couldn’t skip dessert. And let me tell you, sharing? 🚫 NOT TODAY. Everyone was on their own sweet mission. 🍰🍫 👶 The Kindergarten Genius kept it classic with chocolate ice cream 🍫🍦-as you do at six. 👑 Gigi, in true queenly fashion, savored their tiramisu 🍰☕. 💃 My supermodel wife opted for the Affogato (the ultimate combo of coffee and ice cream ☕🍦-she’s extra like that). 🍇 Me? I went for the Mia Flambé 🔥, bursting with berries 🍓🫐 and amaretto 🥃 magic. Y’all. Just… Y’ALL. Check their menu online-it’s worth every scrolling second. 💻✨ 💯 Final Scores: • Service: 12/10. The staff were ✨ MVPs—friendly, prompt, and on point. I don’t throw 12s lightly, folks. • Food: 11/10. Flavors so bold, they deserve a standing ovation 👏. And no, I’m not just hyping up the cannoli 🥖 (but they’re worth the hype too). 🍷 In summary: Tua Pasta was a full-on 🌟 gastronomic adventure. Gigi had her birthday glow 👑, the fam was happy 🍝, and we all left with satisfied hearts 💕 and full stomachs. Can’t wait to go back for round two!!

We are in town for Hurricane Relief Work and decided to try a variety of restaurants, this being our first. We were disappointed.

Price: Our bill before tip for two was over $100. That price would have been fine if the food had been delicious. Soda is $5.00, a glass of Wine is $14.00. I don’t recall the amount for the plates but it was over $24.00 per plate if I recall correctly.

Food: You get bread before your meal with butter, balsamic and oil. It was pretty good. We ordered the Bruschetta appetizer which was the highlight of the meal. It did have too much red onion however. It was a bit disappointing that you get 3 slices when there are two of you. 4 would have been better. I ordered the Chicken Parm and my husband ordered the Chicken Alfredo. My slice of chicken was huge and it was fairly good except that the sauce is very bland and needed salt. It’s very much a watered down tomato sauce without any flavor. The pasta is extra Al Dente which I don’t enjoy. My husband liked his food well enough to eat it. Truly, we were very hungry from driving all day from Georgia and I still didn’t eat my pasta.

Atmosphere: The restaurant is quite nice. Table linens and napkins. Water and Soda in large wine like glasses. A fake candle in the middle of the table. It is small so it’s very loud. When we arrived there were very few people there so it was nice and quiet but then a large group arrived with children and the other half of another party so my husband and I couldn’t even hear each other.

Service: Our waitress was pretty great. Our only complaint was that our water, wine and soda glasses were empty for quite some time before she realized it and refilled them.

I wouldn’t eat here again. It’s just not worth the price.
