We are in town for Hurricane Relief Work and decided to try a variety of restaurants, this being our first. We were disappointed.
Price: Our bill before tip for two was over $100. That price would have been fine if the food had been delicious. Soda is $5.00, a glass of Wine is $14.00. I don’t recall the amount for the plates but it was over $24.00 per plate if I recall correctly.
Food: You get bread before your meal with butter, balsamic and oil. It was pretty good. We ordered the Bruschetta appetizer which was the highlight of the meal. It did have too much red onion however. It was a bit disappointing that you get 3 slices when there are two of you. 4 would have been better. I ordered the Chicken Parm and my husband ordered the Chicken Alfredo. My slice of chicken was huge and it was fairly good except that the sauce is very bland and needed salt. It’s very much a watered down tomato sauce without any flavor. The pasta is extra Al Dente which I don’t enjoy. My husband liked his food well enough to eat it. Truly, we were very hungry from driving all day from Georgia and I still didn’t eat my pasta.
Atmosphere: The restaurant is quite nice. Table linens and napkins. Water and Soda in large wine like glasses. A fake candle in the middle of the table. It is small so it’s very loud. When we arrived there were very few people there so it was nice and quiet but then a large group arrived with children and the other half of another party so my husband and I couldn’t even hear each other.
Service: Our waitress was pretty great. Our only complaint was that our water, wine and soda glasses were empty for quite some time before she realized it and refilled them.
I wouldn’t eat here again. It’s just not worth the price.
Outstanding food and service. Rolls were piping hot, pasta made daily, and tea was great.

I had dinner with my family here to celebrate a birthday. The food and atmosphere was very good. I had the chicken marsala dish with risotto. My food was flavorful and overall very good. The service was excellent. Our server could not have been nicer. I highly recommend giving Tua Pasta a try!

Try this lovely place in downtown Bartow. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. All the pasta is made using a machine from Italy.

Was drawn here due to the positive reviews, but now we are realizing they’re likely positive because it’s in Bartow and there isn’t a lot of options.
Server was friendly, but was very confused about the menu and drink offerings. Told us there was a full bar but wasn’t (beer and wine only), had a hard time keeping track of who ordered what (5 person table), and was flustered.
My pasta wasn’t very flavorful, but others really enjoyed their dishes - the chicken piccata looked really good. They forgot my meatballs I added to the pasta, but corrected it.
Strong sewer smell in the restaurant, though it could be coming from the street. We almost left because it just wasn’t a pleasant atmosphere.

We had heard the food was excellent and practically starved ourselves all day waiting for a chance to go try it out. Here was our experience:
We wanted to get there at 4:30 when they opened, but we made a call on the way to be sure we could get in. I'm glad we did. The earliest we could get seated was 7:30. No problem. Got there at 7:30 to a relatively busy restaurant. There were two large parties dining and having a great time. The only problem with that is that no one else could be heard as the sound was overwhelming. We ordered from the only waiter working, and it took a while. We all just looked at each other because you couldn't hear anything but noise. Wine helped. They had runners that would bring our plates whenever a certain dish was ready. None of us were served at the same time. The food was good. Nothing over the top, though, and no one wished it was better than I. We shared and made the best of it. Our appetizer was lost somewhere, so it came out after the entrees. Everyone and every place is off from time to time, so maybe they deserve another chance. But at $150 for three people, Tua Pasta was a once and done. Sorry, guys.

Really, really excellent! As someone who doesn’t typically like Italian cuisine/pasta in general, (too heavy), this meal was a delicious surprise. Service A+, fantastic desserts & coffee.
Parking: No problem whatsoever finding street parking. We went on a weekend

this was our first time visiting and they did not let us down! Great atmosphere. Very comfortable and charming. The food was top notch. We both had lasagna. It was out of this world delicious. Tried their cheesecake and their lemon cake. Again it was spot on with taste. I love to cook and am a self professed foodie. They are now on our weekly date night rotation. can't wait till next month.
