My wife and I were shopping in Bartow this afternoon, and had lunch at Tua's (as my wife had read a number of excellent reviews on the food and service). This is a family owned and run restaurant that is very clean, and offers a good selection of Italian foods.My wife had their house salad with chicken, and I had their sausage, peppers & onions dish. Both were excellent, and tasty.They mentioned that expanded gluten free dishes will soon be added to their menu, and as well pizzas. This restaurant is well worth checking out, if you enjoy fresh quality Italian food.

The location is very unassuming on Main Street, but it is very nice inside. I had the chicken parmesan and my wife had the lasagna bolognose. Both were fantastic! We learned the chef worked in Queens NY and you can tell it is authentic Italian. The wait staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Highly recommend!

This was a good and bad experience. The atmosphere was nice and cozy but too chilly for me. The appetizers, Arancini and Empanadas, were delicious! My friends had the Pappardelle Bolognese, Cajun Chicken Soup, and the Pasta Tua salad, and were happy. My problem is the Caesar Salad was tasteless! I asked for salt and pepper, and it didn't help! Then I asked for more dressing and that didn't help. How could they mess that up? Manuel took the salad away apologized. My guests had wine and I stuck with water, but I had to ask for Manuel to fill my glass and after that I just took it from my guests. No one wanted dessert but I was happy to find out they had decaf Espresso; however, it was terribly bitter. He took that away as well. When he brought the bill, he said he had deducted the salad and espresso. I thanked him and paid the check. Upon closer review this morning I found out he had only deducted the Espresso. Carefully review your check before you leave!

Atmosphere was cute. Small place not many tables. Food was good. There are better places around. They were out of Lasagna, a staple in an Italian restaurant and you run out not good. Wasn't cute that little kids were running around either. No cannoli's for dessert that sucked. Pasta was fresh and is made on the premises. Suggestion they should sell it.
This is a great pasta spot with high quality homemade dishes. It has changed hands in executive chefs several times in its short opening history but quality continues. I understand it's owned by long-term master chef "Italo" of Lakeland, offering local exec chefs great experience at management and execution. They have a great menu with lots of variation and new dishes. I personally loved their lightly garlicky alfredo fettucini. Some fine looking desserts on the menu and they do specials for the holidays. Prices are fair, service is excellent. Highly recommend.
