Worst table service I ever experienced at a Palm restaurant or any other in decades. Drink order never came and dinner was not served in 45 minutes so we left. Waiter was atrocious. Waters never refilled. I ate at this restaurant dozens of times. This was atrocious.

We used to be regulars at the Palm for more than 30 years, but haven't been going recently.  I decided to take the whole family. Six of us sat down on time and decided we would all pick off the spice menu which was very reasonable. The lobster bisque was underwhelming, but the Caesar salads and the house salad were excellent as were the breads they put down on the table when you first get there. we all had either the 8 ounce or the 12 ounce filet mignon and the 12 or 16 ounce. New York strip everyone's steak was cooked as ordered perfectly. For the side dish I had cream spinach, french fries, mashed potatoes and string beans. Everything prepared preferably. For a Friday night at 7:30 the restaurant was only about half full. Our waiter, Robert, was as attentive as he could be but everything lagged and we saw other tables of less that arrived before us getting served much quicker. I finally understood there were no runners so he had to go back-and-forth for every single dish and that was the negative on the service. Overall, we love the restaurant and the food, but I don't know if I could sit that long waiting for a drink, then waiting for appetizers and then waiting for our main course and then waiting to even order dessert! It was a little over two hours to have dinner, but it seemed longer if you want a great steak at a reasonable price take advantage of the spice man while you can .

My wife and I have enjoyed more than 7 locations of the Palm. They have never disappointed. We recently dined at the Miami location on September 7 and was greeted warmly and service was superb. We ordered the lobster with a Filet Mignon added. Both entrees were prepared to great satisfaction.
