Musashi Sushi Lounge

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We went for a family dinner with my sister family and my family: two 2-year-olds, a 12-year-old, my husband, and me. Our 12-year-old ate only two yakisoba appetizers (served in mini bowls) and one scoop of ice cream. On the menu, the regular yakisoba (bigger size) is $14.99 and the ice cream is $5. Even so, they charged us for one full adult all-you-can-eat meal, even though she clearly did not eat anything close to that.
When I questioned it, they insisted the price would be “basically the same,” so they charged the all-you-eat price anyway. It felt as if it didn’t matter to them since it wasn’t their own money. This alone already ruined the experience.
But the rodízio service was also terrible. The server asked if we wanted the “experience” (their all-you-can-eat service) or if we preferred to order our own dishes for the all-ypu-can-eat. We chose to order individually. My husband only eats sashimi, so he ordered only sashimi. However, because someone else at our table asked for the “experience,” they started sending out dishes for everyone, mixing everything. They brought everyone’s food first, including all the rodízio dishes, and served my husband’s sashimi last, even though it was the only thing he was going to eat. He had to sit and wait while everyone else finished their meals.
Overall, it was an extremely frustrating and disappointing visit. We won’t be returning, and I hope they reconsider both their billing practices and the way they handle the all-you-can-eat.

Unfortunately this restaurant didn't hold up to the 4.8 stars that it somehow received on Google. We went to the restaurant around 5:45 PM and it was nearly empty. The atmosphere was odd; it was very dark and the music made it feel like a drinking lounge instead of a sushi restaurant. The atmosphere wasn't a deal breaker for us, just odd for the type of food served. The all you can eat option was appealing, so we went with that, but quickly realized that the all you can eat menu had many, many options with no description of what the rolls or food contained. We had to ask for an a la carte menu to hold next to the all you can eat menu to decipher what each menu option was and what kind of fish was in each item. The fish was decent quality and tasted fine. The huge negative was that many of the rolls contained copious amounts of mayonnaise or cream cheese, or occasionally both. My recommendation for management would be to include food descriptions in the all you can eat menu so people can understand what they are ordering instead of just a volcano roll or other names that aren't self-descriptive. The cocktails were mediocre, but it was buy one get one so I guess that's fine. We got a cucumber-lime martini that was just mojito mix with some type of liquor. Finally, the only upside of our experience was our waitress. I didn't manage to catch her name but she was extremely kind and understanding when we didn't finish our last two rolls. She was very attentive and helpful throughout. .

We went for dinner and had such an incredible experience! Nayara and Mateus were our servers, and they were absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was beautifully prepared and delicious. Thank you to the entire team for making our evening so special
