If this Popeyes in Belle Glade is aiming for worst fast food experience in the area, they’ve perfected it.

The new building looks nice, I’ll give you that. But it came at the cost of everything that actually mattered. Ever since they reopened, the quality dropped hard and the professionalism went right with it. I’m writing this because I’ve had it.

Every visit is the same mess. Long waits, wrong orders, and food that tastes like it’s been sitting all day. Chicken is dry or barely warm, sides are missing or thrown together like nobody cares. It feels like you’re inconveniencing them just by ordering.

At this point you are forced to check your order before leaving because something will be wrong every time. That should not be the customer’s responsibility. That is literally the job they are being paid to do.

And the sauces. What happened. You never get them unless you ask. Where is the honey. Where is the grape jelly. Basic items that used to come standard. I have made it all the way to the job site just to realize there was no fork in the bag. Yes I should have checked, but that is not my job. It is theirs. Instead it feels like people are just clocking in, doing the bare minimum, and not caring about anything.

Customer service is nonexistent. No communication, no urgency, just attitude when something is wrong. This location is dragging down the name of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

I hope management actually takes this serious because right now this place is a complete letdown. It used to be way better. Now it is just frustrating every single time.

Horrible service! We had to wait 40 minutes after ordering the food. The outlet is short staffed with no clue of customer service! They shoulf shut down this branch!

Freshest Popeyes chicken out there. This was a fav place to go and get their lunch specials when working in Belle Glade. There’s always a line for the delicious chicken!

It honestly feels like Popeyes doesn’t even want to take my order when I order online. I’ll place it, get the confirmation, and then end up waiting forever—sometimes close to 50 minutes—just for my food to finally be ready. Fast food is supposed to be quick, but Popeyes makes it feel like I ordered a five-course meal. At that point, I start wondering if they forgot about me or just don’t care.

They also withheld the food that I redeemed using my points. The employees here are usually pretty mean spirited. It’s sad to think how people wear their problems on their sleeve and get excitement from raining on the parades of others.

I placed my order through the app and the employees deliberately held my order back for 45 minutes.

A little kindness won’t hurt— it may help you to feel better on the inside to brighten someone’s day with a simple smile. I don’t even care about the money, it’s so disheartening that stepping outside means being treated like you don’t matter.
