Not a busy place for the delicious food that they have. They have a large wine selection and not over priced. Can't say enough about how good the food is here.

Chez Colette is a charming little French bistro in Belleair Bluffs, run by a delightful husband-and-wife team. He’s the talented chef working magic in the kitchen, while she keeps everything humming along with a warm smile.
We met friends for dinner and started with a charcuterie board packed with cool options, including a couple of new-to-us items we really enjoyed. For starters, I dove into the French onion soup—rich, cozy, and just perfect. My friend couldn’t get enough of her fresh arugula salad, and the escargot was a total hit, with every bite bursting with flavor.
For mains, I had the wild-caught shrimp risotto, which was super creamy and delicious. My husband’s beef bourguignon was hearty and packed with rich flavor. Our friends went for the duck leg confit, which she raved about, and the special—a 16-ounce Delmonico steak (really a ribeye) cooked to absolute perfection.
Dessert was a real treat! We shared the decadent chocolate mousse and an espresso over vanilla ice cream with salted caramel drizzle—both were out of this world. I noticed a few people enjoying the filet mignon, and it’s definitely on my list for next time.
Chez Colette’s cozy vibe means you’ll want to book a table ahead of time. It’s totally worth the drive to Bel Air Bluffs for a meal that feels like a warm hug from France!

Thought we would give it a go. Overcooked grouper and overcooked risotto, soupy and way too salty and all one flavor note. Not impressed. Chicken dish? Again just skinless chicken breast chopped up in small pieces covered in the same soupy sauce and just looked so unappetizing. No color, no texture. Not cool when everything on your plate is cooked and drowned in the same cream sauce. Will not return.

Had never been before. Pleasantly surprised. It was hard to choose since there were so many good selections between the apps, cheeses, wines and entrees. Everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend the warm goat cheese salad and beef Bourgogne. Come hungry!

The best French Food In all of Florida
Chez Colette is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported straight to France with its charming ambiance and warm, attentive service. But the real star is the food every dish is a masterpiece. The flavors are rich and authentic, the presentation is elegant, and the quality is simply top-tier. Whether you’re savoring the buttery escargot, the perfectly cooked duck confit, filet, sea bass or the heavenly crème brûlée, each bite is unforgettable. This is French cuisine at its finest truly a five-star experience. Highly, highly recommended!
Fantastic, genuine spot with great food and ambiance
We had the pleasure of dining at our favorite French restaurant this evening. While I am eager to share our wonderful experience, I am also hesitant, as the restaurant's small size, with only about 32 seats, is part of its allure, and Sesto and I would like to preserve its intimacy for our own future visits. This restaurant embodies the essence of European dining, where the emphasis is on leisurely enjoyment, rather than prompt service. Only two people work there: Owners French Chef Nicholas and his wife Tabitha. They provide attentive and personalized service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, similar to dining at a family member's home. The cuisine was exceptional, and we anticipate returning to this culinary gem again soon.

Rude!!! Refused service because I was solo dinner. (Make more money on two or more in party)
Quaint little french restaurant in Belleair. Food is delicious and they have an extensive wine selection. My husband had the Filet Mignon and said it was the best steak he has had in at least 5 years at a restaurant. Very small, make a reservation.
A little pricey, but overall good
walked in and they said that they were closed at 8:52. Very bad service. If you say that you’re open until 10 then you should be open until 10…
great French, though a bit pricey
