This is a hotel restaurant in Santa Maria Suites- the advertised happy hour is not honored.
We wanted to go for a happy hour drink and appetizer around 5 pm. When we arrived, there the place was empty aside from a few people at the bar. The hostess explained that they were full of upcoming reservations (the restaurant was 95% empty) and they could accommodate us only if we were going to order dinner there, not off the happy hour menu. We came back an hour later and the restaurant was still empty.
The advertising of happy hour felt like a ruse to get people in the door, and then force them to order off the regular happy hour menu.
This restaurant is the only negative thing I have to say about our stay at Santa Maria!
Nice place to stop in for happy hour. Their specials are really good and well-priced. We had a great time sitting at the bar for wine and apps. The atmosphere is really elegant, but trendy. Plan to return for a full meal soon.

Not worth the price and i can't understand why food can't come out hot instead of just warm

I was so looking forward to this place for dinner after reading the great reviews, but unfortunately we were both disappointed. My swordfish was overcooked and dry. I couldn't eat the entire piece. My husband had the hog fish which he enjoyed but the jasmine rice was horrible.
Not worth the $$$.
My new favorite restaurant on the island! Staff were amazing, food and drinks were delicious! Best risotto I’ve had in a while, swordfish was fresh, everything was perfect.

We went here for valentines day. The meal and service were excellent. The food was not only some of the best we had in key west but it was almost too beautifully plated to eat. 5 stars all around, it is expensive but it is worth it, a true culinary experience.
Unfortunately I booked a bar high top and the hostess said we didn't have that table. I had it on my phone. She did honor our Happy Hour at another table. The whole time we were there both high tops empty. Our server was wonderful. Food and drinks were good.

My THIRD night here. Food is exquisite… but I come back for the service. Just LOVE Megan, Sylvia …even the bus boy said “nice to see you again”. Best food in KW.

The food and service were wonderful. The ambiance and acoustics were awful and ruined the evening. The noise from the obnoxious guests at the bar area spoiled the evening. We could not hear each other at the table without shouting. Either fix the acoustics or stop the happy hour special at the bar. This is not a Duval Street bar but a high end dining establishment. We are locals and I won't be back nor recommend.

We really wanted to like the restaurant and enjoy the food, but it was only average. The server and owner are extremely nice and accommodating. The food needs more flavor and in our opinion using garlic and oregano would go a long way and helping it.
