Ordered the crab benedict. Best damn crab cake I've ever had, the egg, fried green tomato, and Hollandaise sauce were only an added bonus. A side of stone ground Marsh Hen Mill grits were also a huge plus.

Can't say enough about this hidden gem.
Everything was FIVE star. The food, the accommodations, the service,the location on the Gulf ,the property itself all great...and the Main Inn ,just gorgeous.

Perfect bruch experience for Mother's Day. Food was just ok, but the mimosas, service, and atmosphere were 10 out of 10.

Our dining experience here was probably the best we have ever experienced. Beautifully plated meals that tasted just so amazing! The wait staff was professional and gave great suggestions. We are dreaming about the day we will go back!

Not a great experience… waited until 745 for a table even though place was half empty… ordered drinks and waited… wine glass had soap suds in it and my friends lemon drop martini was just wrongly mixed… when we were finally seated we told the hostess and she told us to tell the waiter and he said “if we didn’t like the drink we should go back to the bar and get another “… real shitty service for a so called top end place… the waiter never came back … we left and ate down the road…I guess if you want to overpay and get treated like your business doesn’t matter than this place is for you.. otherwise save your money…

We had a birthday lunch at the Pink Elephant. Austin was our server and he did a terrific job. Attentive, friendly...he just couldn't have done better. Afterwards we stopped by the Inn to show some of our party the Christmas decorations, etc. and to have a drink at the bar. Beautiful, as always!

We made a reservation and drove an hour to dine at this restaurant. I was notified that there is a strict dress code policy upon arrival that included wearing a sport coat. The hostess never mentioned this when I called to make the reservation or else we would have gladly complied. The lady who greeted us as we walked into the restroom was very kind. She recommended we go to the Pink Elephant, their other restaurant. So we did and once we arrived the hostess told us we would have to wait two hours to dine there. Excellent service would have been the team from Gasparilla calling to the Pink Elephant to ensure we had a place to eat. Basic training in customer service processes and communication would have taken care of everything. Otherwise, a quiet beautiful town.

What a wonderful out of the way place-you feel like you’ve stepped thru a time warp.
