We made a reservation and drove an hour to dine at this restaurant. I was notified that there is a strict dress code policy upon arrival that included wearing a sport coat. The hostess never mentioned this when I called to make the reservation or else we would have gladly complied. The lady who greeted us as we walked into the restroom was very kind. She recommended we go to the Pink Elephant, their other restaurant. So we did and once we arrived the hostess told us we would have to wait two hours to dine there. Excellent service would have been the team from Gasparilla calling to the Pink Elephant to ensure we had a place to eat. Basic training in customer service processes and communication would have taken care of everything. Otherwise, a quiet beautiful town.

For the price you pay for a night stay it's totally not worth it. The front desk staff is rude and not helpful with paying several hundred for night the least they could do is provide a complimentary breakfast.

I like to come to this beautiful Inn to get away from the mayhem that is Miami. This place very lovely with an amazing staff. You are always warmly greeted and room service is amazing. The dinners are always delicious always with a wonderful selection to choose from. Austin the dining room manager is always so polite and accommodating to all our needs. This place has an old Florida feel and the beaches are the most beautiful I have ever seen with sunsets that are beyond words. Definitely worth the money for a very relaxing weekend! Looking forward to our next visit!

A wonderful breakfast in a gorgeous hotel! We got the buffet which they have everyday. It was about $25 but was all you can eat and included drinks. There was a $10 service charge that they did not tell us about so be aware. We also didn't get refills on the drinks, I'm not sure if this was not included or if our server wasn't good. Make sure you walk around and enjoy the hotel after!

Absolutely wonderful meal! Perfect service. We have no complaints just high praises for our thoroughly enjoyable dinner here!The Pinot Noir pour was exceptional and in a beautiful large wine glass! Our Caesar salad tower came artistically created but opened up on our plate to be packed with everything you would expect but better in every possible way. Let me tell you that the pork entree with au gratin potatoes and brussel sprouts surpassed any pork dish we have EVER eaten!Our dining experience was totally enjoyable and better than we expected. We will return here to dine wherever on this island for certain!

Great dining experience with very attentive staff. Easy to have a conversation. Food is a bit old school in comparison to the pink elephant, but was very good. Going a bit for the "jackets required" vibe, which isn't bad. Chowder was excellent.

Wonderful Old Florida experience. No high rises, no stores on every corner. Just sand and surf and a very friendly staff looking after your every need. A beautiful golf course and beach club await you.
