We have been dining here for over 15 years. The seafood is always fresh. They have great specials. Good salads. Their Grouper fingers are one of the two best in all of SW Florida. We always look forward to our return each winter.

While vacationing on the island, we had a date night dinner here. My husband ordered the special - triple tail fish. It was prepared great. Sides were nothing special. My meal - red snapper was ok. They had a lot of wait staff,but service was slow.

We took a chance without a reservation and were seated very graciously even though they were very busy. Sabrina was our server and she did an excellent job with our menu questions and choices. Husband said the swordfish was one of the best prepared he has had and I was delighted with my fried oyster choice. They were lightly breaded and very tender. Entrees served with a starch choice and vegetable of the day. Extensive wine list. Absolutely will return during our week long visit.

A visit here is a trip back to Old Florida. Step through the original doors and you're magically transported to the 50's -- 60's with hand painted murals on the dining room walls, a 1950's cigarette machine located on the way to the restrooms, and bathroom sinks that have separate hot and cold faucets, just to name a few of Temptations' highlights. Following a foodie friend's suggestion, I ordered the Grouper Reuben. It's served on a toasted marble-rye bread and served with your choice of two sides. One of my sides was fresh fruit, and let me tell ya---the fruit was so fresh and delicious! So, if you're looking to travel back in time AND have a great lunch, YA GOTTA EAT HERE! :-D

We love this restaurant. It is always our top choice when we visit the island. Our server tonight was Bailey and he was so attentive and knowledgeable. Everything is so delicious and well made. Everything on the menu is fresh and tastes delicious. You can't go wrong with anything. We have never had a bad meal at The Temp. This place will be open for another 75 years! Long live The Temp!

If you were always curious about, "Old Florida," this is the place to go. If you're under 60 you'll probably be one of the younger patrons, but the food is great and I love the vibe. I also stop in the liquor store frequently, as it has the best prices on the island. Another tip: The Temptation t-shirts, at $20 per, are a steal.

The four of us had different lunch dishes. My seafood was good and the service was excellent. We'd probably go back if in the area again.
A few coworkers and I went out for a few beers after our shift and had the worst service from amber. She didn’t acknowledge us for almost 30 minutes, and then when she did she took her time to make the drinks. I understand it was busy, we all work in the same industry. We come here often after work but after that night none of us really want to return. She was extremely rude and short. Didn’t smile, has no personality. Then another night again we came for a few beers and there was maybe 5/6 people in the bar and it still took a while for service. She did last call at 11:30 and it’s usually 11:45 from any other bartender that works here. After the last two experiences with her I do not think many of us will be going there after work anymore.

Ate here twice this week for dinner. The first night everything was super fresh and good. The grouper fingers appetizer was so good we ordered a second round. The best was the second night. We arrived with a bag of fileted fish that we caught 2 hrs prior. We were supposed to eat at the Gasparailla Inn but after arranging in advance to have our fish cooked they changed their mind. You can read more about that on the review on their page. Cathy at the front greeted us and took immediate care of us. Kevin the chef, prepared our food and it was fantastic. Our server Jessica was so helpful and the service was awesome. Can't say enough great things. Definitely worth a stop. Reminds me of old Florida.

Request Bailey as your server when you go here. He is one of the best servers ive ever seen in my life. He made sure everything was taken care of and made sure we got our food and drinks on time and was very attentive. The ribeye was really good and atmosphere was n[ice and calm. Definitely will be back

Bartender Christine is always friendly and always on the move to serve ppl!! Great food...recommend Lobster Chowder, Shrimp and Grouper Platter, Cobb Salad!! It's all good!!! We sit in the bar for a casual experience. However, we have sat in the dining area for a special occasion.

Dinner with my wife and five friends at Temptations last evening. My first visit to the restaurant and I was pleased. The place was packed, but the service was excellent. The food was delicious and everyone of our party agreed. We had everything from ribeye to red snapper and everything was very good. I had my favorite, fried oysters, and for those of you who know, good fried oysters are hard to find. Mine were the best I’ve had in a long while, lightly breaded on the outside and juicy and succulent on the inside. Not as expensive as I had anticipated a Boca Grande restaurant would be. We’ll worth a visit!
