True Kitchen was a pleasant surprise for me as I tend to go to more traditional spaces but because of my nephew who has Celiac, this was a perfect spot. The menu was great ( the lasagna was delicious!) and to top it off the desserts made my nephew completely delirious with joy as he normally is limited to ice cream. This was my second time at the restaurant. I visited the Tampa location which was modern and it had an upscale feel. This location is more of a cafe vibe. The food was good but I was so sad that the plant based burger was not available. They ran out and it was only 2pm in a Sunday. The substitution was ok but I'll return for the burger it is worth it.
Very long wait to receive drinks and appetizers. The food came out a few minutes after the apps. Took about 45 minutes to get our food. Server came by infrequently, but there wasn't much to do as we were just waiting on the kitchen.
