The NY Pizza Place - Boca Raton

Our first time ordering from NY Pizza. We did it using the online ordering directly from the restaurant. I think the system isn’t working well cause we wanted half/half topping but the system kept on saying we wanted to order 2 pizza instead of 1. Called the restaurant and was able to resolve it which was very helpful.

The Brooklyn topping was tasty. We felt the Hawaiian was lacking flavor and the dough was on the sweeter side.

Still a very good pizza.

They are very slow and have a very limited menu. Cute place tho

Be aware if you order pizza over the phone, they will take your order and your money. Expect a third party to come and pick up your pizza never arrives and won’t offer a refund.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Worst food and service ever. Spent over $100 to have soggy undercooked food. Only to be told by the teenagers running the store and making the food they hold themselves to the highest standards. Wouldn’t take the food back and give a refund. Asked for pizzas to be well done they were a floppy great mess. No manger avail they said they don’t have one. What kind of business owner leaves teenagers to run a store

Slice of pizza must’ve been sitting out for 3 days before it was reheated and served, so stale. 5$ slice of pizza is wild. Keep Dave Portnoy far away from this place

2:30 in the afternoon… thought we’d try a new pizza place. Ordered a 14” plain, got a 20”. Okay… Tuesday special. Ready in literally 5 minutes. Who makes a great pizza in 5 minutes? No One. Took one bite, tasted like tasteless cardboard. We decided it was probably already made, just sitting, waiting to be sold for slices. They most likely just heated it. Nothing even remotely close to a NY Pizza. The search continues for a decent pizza. So far, Dominics near the turnpike on Glades Rd. is the winner. Fresh, Hot, & Delicious. Worth the 20 minute wait.

Ordered delivery from them for 6 children that I had over at the house..
Got a large pizza and an order of wings for delivery, they delivered but never rang the door bell or knock on door they just left the food outside period.
Never even got a notification or anything at all
When one of our kids when out to the car to grab a ball they realized the food was sitting outside
We grabbed it and the order of wings was upside down dripping all over the pizza box and inside
Wings got dried up after all the sauce etc dripped out of them..
Pizza was cold and hard when opened
We called to let them know and they refused to do anything about it period
They blamed it on a third party delivery service even though I called them directly to order not via anyone else
The person on the call said they were the manager at the time did say there is a general manager but gave no option to contact them..
First time ordering and will be the last
As a business they should stand behind their food and if I’m ordering directly from you then it’s on you to figure it out with the delivery company not just tell the customer too bad figure it out

Will for sure be calling CC company and disputing this..

What a shame they could care so little about the customers that order from them

Absolutely do not recommend this place at all…

Ordered pizza four times via Slice - first one was burnt, second one cold, third time was double charged and last one went to oven when I arrived to pick up. Can’t win it 🤷‍♂️

Amazing Pizza, this is just not me speaking but my entire family of 5 enjoyed it so much. Friendly staff and priced far more reasonably than many other local pizzeria's. We can’t wait to head back. The Pictures tell the whole story from beginning to end!

Parking: Parking lot right outside the shop makes getting in and out easy!

Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the atmosphere too!

First time ordering pizza at NY Pizza. So disappointed! Pizza was burnt. Ordered spaghetti with meatballs. The lid was not secure and spilled sauce everywhere.

pizza and food is half decent but horrible customer service. They use third party delivery services that are unreliable. When anything goes wrong just blame the delivery service. They do not care about accommodating customers or making sure the customer is happy. will not order again from them.

This place is an example of how to destroy a successful pizzeria. It was called Manhattan Joe's under previous management, and they made pizza as close to the NYC as you can get in Boca. We were loyal customers for years. Now, the new owners changed something in the recipe, either dough, cheese or tomato sauce. It has become uneatable. My kids, that would enjoy almost any pizza, just refused to finish their Margareta slices, and we threw the rest of the pie into the garbage. What a shame.
