Our experience was underwhelming. The host was rude upon arrival, which set a negative tone. We were initially seated inside, but the bathroom was a mess with water everywhere. After requesting to move outside, things didn’t improve—the truffle fries were disappointing, though the burger and drinks were just okay. Overall, a 5/10 experience.

The place is beautiful, the food is fantastic. Unfortunately our service was extremely lacking. We had a decent size table of people but the service was not there. Almost as if we where forgotten about. Took well over an hour to even get our food order in, then took another hour to get our food. It's too bad because it could be such a wonderful restaurant if it had service.

I've been to Max's a few times when visiting my father in Boca. He is elderly and has difficulty walking, so when visiting recently we ordered take out. One entree was the meatloaf, which was exceptionally delicious and the other was crab crusted snapper. It was fishy, clearly not fresh, and inedible. It was thrown in the trash.
