Staff was friendly. Food was amazing. And my tea NEVER ran out. First time there AND we WILL be back. I’m not a huge fan of pork but the pulled pork and beef platter was delicious, the serving size more than enough with leftovers. My husband had the ribs and wings and it was also delicious!!! Thank you for the great experience, you will see us again!

Tasty ribs and the sweet potato chips were yum. My friends ordered for me so the sauce was a little sweet and I put it on the side but overall nice staff, quick service for lunch. Just watch the construction in the evenings 😫

Best bbq place in the on the east coat. Get the ribs and peanut butter pie. Thank me later. Cation going here will ruin every other bbq place you’ll ever step foot in. It’s that good.

one star because It’s the only way to write a review. We tried this place for the first time and ordered food to pick up. Get home and see that the sides are in a little to go ketchup size container. The ribs are dried out beef jerky and the chicken is dry as well. So not only was the order expensive ~42$~ , dried out, there wasn’t enough food for two average size people and a small child.
Can’t believe anybody gives them anything but 1 star.. they must be friends of the owner writing bs reviews.

Best BBQ in Boca Raton!

Mississippi Sweets BBQ is a hidden gem and hands down one of the best spots for barbecue in Boca Raton. The food is absolutely delicious — we had the baby back ribs and pulled pork platter, and both were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The sweet and smoky sauce is addictive!

Their sides are just as impressive. The “Mississippi Sweets” (thin, crispy sweet potato chips) are a must-try, and the baked beans and slaw hit all the right notes. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything feels homemade and full of heart.

The vibe is casual and welcoming — great for families, friends, or a quick solo lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, even during a busy dinner rush.

If you’re craving real Southern-style BBQ in South Florida, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

While on vacation tried this place due to the great reviews. Like a few more recent reviews mentioned, we found the ribs to be burnt and dry. The sides were bad as well. Very disappointed, although the staff was friendly.

Mississippi BBQ made $74 off my family and they will never have my business again. The ribs looked sad, no meat, small and they tasted like they have been sitting there for a long time.

Service was normal. The place is beautiful but the food is terrible. My 12 years old son that eat ANYTHING, said the pizza from his Cafeteria Middle school was better than the ribs. My daughter said the pork pulled sandwich was plain and no taste.

If they call me to offer me a new experience with their food for free, I wouldn’t go. We didn’t even want to try the dessert.

I have no ideia how this is a 4.5 stars. If anyone honestly think this food is good, they never had a real barbecue.

Not worth the price.
Me and my husband asked for a full rack of ribs to share, the waitress said it would be around 16 pieces, that would’ve been great if there was any meat on it. If we got to eat 10 oz. of meat, that was a lot! Only bones and super dry. The meat was not coming off the bones as a well prepared rib should be..
The pulled pork sandwich was tasteless. You could tell because the color was plain. We had to put a lot of sauce to be able to swallow.
It was sad. We spent $79.00 before taxes and tip, and left hungry.

The BEST BBQ we have had in a long time! Our 6 year old asks to eat here every chance he gets! Always consistent, great service and delicious food. The ribs and pulled pork are both out of this world and all of the sides are amazing!

We've lived in Boca for 3 years and this was our first visit. The food was incredibly tasty -- we got a rack of ribs, cornbread, and their Mississippi Sweets (sweet potato fries). The ribs were melt in your mouth wonderful. The vibe was perfect. Music was enjoyable and appropriate for the space. We felt like we were in the south. Our waitress was very attentive and charming, and everyone who worked there that we encountered was friendly and gave a smile. We will be going back for sure!

The food was excellent. The ribs the baked beans and coleslaw were all good. The service was good too. The only thing was that the 2 sides baked beans and coleslaw were extremely small for the platter. Very disappointed for paying over $20.00 for a platter.

It was a great experience. The restaurant seems to be family owned, which made them experience even better. The food was really good! And the service as well. The portions are huge, the cornbread delicious, etc. Would 100% recommend!
