We dine at Morton's regularly and always have a great experience with food and service. This time there was a very loud party going on and the service was slow. Planning to return for an upcoming birthday dinner and hope it is a better experience!
The bread served with dinner is nothing special. My filet was ordered medium rare and came out medium. The blue cheese butter was very good. The loaded baked potato needed a little more toppings in order for it not to taste so dry. The lemon drop martini was just ok. Overall service was very good, but food was not exceptional.
The food and atmosphere are great, but the delays with reservations are very frustrating. We're never seated at our reserved time and usually wait 20–30 minutes or more. The last time we went, the wait was so long that we ended up sitting at a bar table. We also noticed that after we had already received our appetizers, a party that arrived before us was still waiting to be seated.
