Was a regular a few months ago but switched to another bar because the vibes felt off and the service was extremely hit or miss. That being said, decided to try it out again today and the warm welcome I got from the staff was very kind and I had a great conversation with Anthony who I just found out was his first day! He’s very personable and I’d love to keep seeing him and the rest of the polite staff!
Drinks have also improved from the last time I came and I love the atmosphere now. So glad I decided to come back. :)

This is the spot. I love the ambiance, I love the decor. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out which one I like more, the ambiance or the decor. This spot has great drinks and great people. I highly recommend this place. Josh the GM of the place is great as well. Great guy. Isn't the best at Fantasy Football though but still a great guy. Olivia is fantastic at her job and I wish she would do the events again because she did a great job. Bink.

Drove all the way up from miami just to come here, they have a pool table and awesome botanical drinks! Ali was very welcoming and helpful gave me a free shell after the long drive and i honestly couldnt appreciate it more! I will definitely be coming back and i also recommend for anyone in the area!!! Been coming here for a year always order the same drink Kratom. For some reason the last 2 drink I ordered were made very weak. Like they dont use the same amount of Kratom anymore. I always order a large and its all I need by the time I would drink half of it I would feel nice now I drink a whole one and nothing. I will not be returning. Its like they want you to keep buying more. Used to go at least 2 to 3 times a week. Very disappointed since its so close to my home.

I’ve been coming to this bar since 2016. Although I’ve visited other bars with my friends, I’ve always found myself returning to this establishment immediately after. The drinks are the best I’ve had than at any other bar. The atmosphere is clean, unique and festive for each holiday. The weekly game nights and activities they organize are a great touch to really strengthen the sense of community the bar has garnered.
I’d have to say my favorite quality about this bar is the staff. No matter what night I decide to come, I look forward to whoever is working. The ladies at the bar are all very sweet, professional and work hard to bring the best service they can to everyone. I tend to see the bartenders Alayna, Kylie and Olivia most often, and I’ve never felt more welcome and appreciated as a regular customer than I have with them.
This place is great. I’ll continue returning as a customer for the foreseeable future. Can’t recommend Herb n Roots enough to anyone looking for something new.

Been coming here consistently for the past few years and occasionally visited years before; I’ve always had a great relaxing experience regardless of any staff working.
Current staff is particularly attentive and the drinks are the best they’ve ever been.
The atmosphere is comfortable whether you’re hanging with your friends, reading a book or watching the game. Their events are also fun and I always enjoy bringing my buddies or dates here because it’s a reliable chill experience every time.

Ownership should put more focus on who they allow to hangout here, as lately some customers have been blatantly bad for business. Their drinks are awesome but they are a bit pricey. The new management has been great, but nothing they can do about the problem customers they continue to allow as long as the owner turns a blind eye

Herb n Roots is not only the first Kava Bar in the USA but the best. I run everything from top to bottom when it comes to how a place is managed. The owner has created an establishment that gives you a warm and happy feeling when you arrive. Some of the best Kratom and Kava is at Herb N Roots. I've never been disappointed by the product. It is consistent, consistent, consistent which I love. All the Kava Tenders are knowledgeable, friendly and make this place feel more like home. There's so much too say on how positive the vibes are in this place I can go on and on. I'm grateful to have been introduced to the Kava bar scene by the first Kava bar in the United States. Parking: You can park in the front and a lot of people don’t know you can park in the back as well or across the street but that’s never necessary

In the past 4+ years I’ve spent about $25,000-$30,000 here and every time I tipped the bartenders. I was here last morning and bought my favorite large mango pineapple drink from Amanda and cashed out with her, I went to sit with my wife in the pool room. Then after 20 minutes of playing pool I sat down at the bar. They asked me, “do you need anything?” I said, “No, I am good for now; I cashed out with Amanda.” The bartender explained that I needed to spend at least 5$. Both bartenders one after the other asked me to buy something 30 minutes after I cashed out with Amanda. I did not see them repeat those same actions towards the other customers. The bartenders made me uncomfortable/anxious. It is important to note that I am the only Asian man sitting at the bar. Herbs and roots WAS my favorite kava bar. Ive spent years here with friends from open-to-close, bringing in more loyal customers as the years went by. I’ve come to learn that it’s just a racists, bigoted, and most importantly a money hungry business.
