Came in with a few friends to hang out and play chess. There was a male bartender with a mustache working — noting that because he’s the reason for the review.
Even though it was still an hour and a half before closing, some tables were already stacked up. We politely asked if one could be put down so we could play, and he seemed visibly annoyed. He did it, but with a tone like we were doing something wrong just by being there.
We ordered drinks, hung out, and enjoyed the space. We were at the end of our chess game, when closing time hit. Instead of starting with any of the five other dirty tables in the room, he came straight to ours and asked to clean it while we were finishing our game. Yes — we know it was closing, and we were ready to leave, but there was definitely a better way to handle that moment without making us feel like a burden.
Cool atmosphere, but if the staff acts bothered by customers simply being there, it really kills the environment. Might give it another try, but definitely hoping for better energy next time

Just stopped in for a quick Kratom refuel and the bartender was super friendly and welcoming the atmosphere is clean and brighter than most kava bars which I really enjoyed. I will definitely be back and recommending this place to everyone at the office. I got a 24oz Witches Brew which is a seasonal ginger flavor carbonated tea that tastes great!

I recently went to Herb and Roots as I heard they do weekly showings of the princess diaries 1 and 2 on Sundays. I like to watch julie andrews movies and drink iced tea on Sundays. Now that I am I widower after the post office incident. I needed a place to escape the awful emptiness I now have as a lone 93 year old retired digital non digital photographer. I ended up watching football, which is okay I guess. I preferred my weekly dose of Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrew’s. While having a grand afternoon I realized the seats had unfortunately ruined the crease in my pants. I have never been so embarrassed in my entire life. This is a very serious, I haven’t left the house in 2 weeks and missed 2 doctors appointments out of shame. Please let me know the brand of chair you own so I can call them and see why my pants lost their crease. Thank you and god bless the troops. I attached a photo of my pants as well if this helps you.
