I want to start off by saying I love pollo tropical and have for years. Now on to this review. This location is hands down one of the worst locations I have ever been to in my life. For starters, the lady working the drive through barely has basic communication skills. I’m not the type to say stuff like this but if you can’t speak or understand English fluently, you should not be working at a restaurant! Trying to order through the box was the most painful experiences I’ve been through. It took almost 10 minutes for me to order three items. Eventually the lady said just come to the window. Once I got there she only had two of the three in. So I then had to go through the whole order again, the whole time she kept trying to cut me off and was not helping whatsoever. We finally get the order correct (or so I thought) and she tells me to pull forward past the window while it finishes up. About 5 minutes later I hear someone yelling and see the lady waiving her arms at me trying to tell me to reverse through the drive through lane. Once I got back she asked me to repeat what drinks and sauces I had (for the 4th time). Finally we get the food and surprise the order was wrong! At this point I’m thinking this has to be intentional because there’s just no possible way we went through everything an asinine amount of times. I would rather drive 10 minutes north to Linton rather than go through the torture I just went through.

Super clean, guy with a broom came out three times in the hour we were there. Three plugs for your laptop and the food was good! It was a little hot though.

this location NEVER EVER gets orders right. So much wasted money. So many missing items. This has to be the worst pollo tropical I’ve ever had the displeasure of going to. I hate writing negative reviews when I know people aren’t paid enough to do their jobs, but how many times can I give them grace?? How many times am I supposed to excuse them wasting my money? At this point, I’d rather drive an extra 10-15 minutes to another pollo. we’ve given this place so many chances. Tonight we ordered yucca bites. What did we receive? Corn. We also asked for flan. What did we get? Tres leches or something, idk. It’s always weird mistakes like this. I moved to Boca from west palm a year ago and I feel so bad for my fellow Boca residents. I used to LOVE pollo tropical. If this is the only pollo tropical you’ve ever been to, please go literally anywhere else. this one in particular sucks and isn’t worth it. pollo tropical can be and is supposed to be better than this. I miss having good pollo tropical. What a nightmare.

My favorite pollo and they have frozen mango my son loves..
Update.. this isn’t the pollo we love and sadly it’s the one closest to us. They do not have the frozen mango. They give you the smallest portions and not friendly at this location
