Had been wanting to try. I am vegetarian & looked at menu prior to going. There are 2 vegetarian dishes on the menu. Chefs Own Veggie Sandwich & Bob's Veggie Burger.
Waitress was very rude, place was completely empty at 12:30 on a Saturday. Waitress rushed me into corner seat with a menu & I told her I wanted the Chefs Own Veggie Sandwich. She rudely told me that is a Monday through Friday lunch special. I told her they should put that on the menu so customers know.
I ordered the only other veggie dish Bob's Veggie Burger. It was ok, I have made better at home.
Overall horrible experience and will not return. If the server was nicer I might have.
Put on menu that Chef's Own Veggie Sandwich is only during the week. Wish the owner was there, he probably would have made me the sandwich I specifically went for.
We need more Jamaican restaurants in east Boca

Rice tasted like it came from a Uncle Ben's rice box. Very small portions for $25.00. I'd rather drive to Blue Heron in Rivera Beach and get a load of food with real rice for same price
also the owner was not very friendly.

I have been ordering food regularly from Rocksteady for over 10 years now. It is by far my favorite meal. The jerk chicken sandwich is unreal. The curry chicken with rice and peas.. killer. I am surprised how consistent they have remained all these years. Driving by you would not think anything of this place. If you are getting lunch, try the Jerk Chicken sandwich with Jerk Fries. Ask for a side of "sauce" and dip the sasndwich in the sauce and enjoy. The dinner menu is just as good. I am orderng lunch today and though I would update my review. Enjoy!

Food is amazing!! So tasty! Service and people are great and so welcoming and nice. Atmosphere was really comfy and warm.

If it were socially acceptable, I would bathe in that pumpkin soup! It is delicious. I also ordered the salmon "run dung" and it is now my favorite dish...it's a 10 out of 10! My husband ordered jerk shrimp, he said it was good but it was evident that my food was much better. I will definitely be going back.
