DISAPPOINTED AND OVERPRICED. I saw the reviews and had to try.. I ordered one of the take out boxes. I am not sure if the quality is different for take out but this is definitely not premium sushi. It is overpriced and the equivalent to buying sushi at the supermarket. The fish is very smelly and doesn’t seem fresh. After being at other omakaze restaurants, I can say that this isn’t omakaze quality.I will say that the presentation of the box is really nice.You have to pick up your food in the back parking lot and it is just a weird experience.

This is the best sushi experience I have ever had. I have never had such fresh fish in my entire life. The owner is super cool and knowledgeable and was nice enough to give us some fun facts about what kind of fish we were having too. You absolutely have to check this place out! Just keep in mind it's best to make a reservation

Wow, was recommend to come by a friend, took me a while to bite the bullet but now that I did, I can never look back. My first visit was last week and I'm going back tonight! Both my husband and I have been talking about how good it was that we needed to go again. Upon arrival your greeted by the hostess where she guides you to the little lounge area before your invited to sit on the counter. I was throughly shocked and excited to see two female sushi chef on the counter ( lots of myths about female sushi chefs ) but they rocked the house and did an A1 job. The owner Chef Bou was also in attendance great guy. Once we got invited up thats when the fun began. I've never really dabbled in the real deal Holyfield of raw sushi but sunset has changed me for the better. Each course was presented with such care and attention to detail, and most importantly delicious. All of the cooked fish dishes were spectacular. There was mackerel, miso bass, some fried fish one that was my freaking favorite. Also big onion fan here so I loved it being served with thinly sliced red onionIt's so hard to pick my favorite course because it was all so damn good. Oh and how could I forget the strawberry crepe cake for dessert!!! It is worth the price you for such a wonderful fresh experience,highly recommend if your looking to do a little something special for a loved one or if you become addicted like me

My first experience with Sunset Sushi was fantastic. I ordered the to-go Omakase box, and it was fantastic. Every bite was delicious. It is top quality, has a great selection, and is so tasty. The box looked so pretty also. I can't wait to go try it out in person. Best Sushi since leaving California.
This restaurant is incredible! From the moment you walk In the door you are greeted with a 5 Star experience. This was the most intimate setting with mind blowing food. Every bite had its own unique flavor. Perfection. The service is impeccable and we loved that we were able to chat with our chef while she prepared the food. We will definitely be back, best sushi and atmosphere in town, hands down.

Had reservations for 7 o'clock seating it was our second time there and Aidan was great but the sushi was so impressive and we eat sushi a lot the freshness and his knife work was great and parking is really easy

This place is an absolute banger! I've visited many high-end restaurants, and Sunset is the cherry on top. It is worth every penny, from the food to the authentic Omakase experience. The staff is always on top of their game and very welcoming. So far, I'm a repeat customer 5 times to Omakase and 1 tuna Tuesday experience that will not your socks off. Truly a gem of Boca Raton! If you haven't gone, you have no idea what you are missing, But I can guarantee you'll enjoy it when you do. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
