Hands down one of the best food experiences I've had. My SIL decided to do the omakase experience on a whim while I was visiting her in south Florida and we were not disappointed. Though we arrived on time, the experience started about 45 minutes later and to be honest after starting and seeing the preparation and the interactions the sushi chefs and staff had with the guests I wasn't even bothered. They were fun, they explained everything and most of all they took their time to create in front of you. They created edible art and that takes time. The drinks were fantastic, strong but flavorful and complex. The sake shots provided as part of the dinner were fun. It felt both entirely intimate but also super friendly sitting at the bar with other guests. The meal consisted of nigiri. Each piece specially crafted, unique and completely complex. This is not a place where you just get sushi, this is an experience where the purpose is to truly taste what great seafood is. After the first bite we decided we had to come back again and try the extended "bougie" experience. Absolutely adored this place and my favorite place by far in south Florida!

A unique, relaxed and delicious omakase experience right in downtown Boca. I loved the Gatsby ambience and personable staff! Good price point and excellent cocktails. Arrive early so you have time to unwind in the lounge. One heads up, their average experience time is 1 hr and 15 minutes, if you're used to a 3 hour omakase like I am, you'll feel rushed. It didn't take away from the quality of the food though!
It's always an amazing experience at Sushi by Bou!! I love the the staff, especially Jules!! She is the best!!! The food was amazing and the chef was very attentive and creative with the courses.

The sushi was the freshest fish I’ve had. The display was so well done. Each bite was amazing and unique to the previous piece. This was not just dinner but an experience. I would recommend going to sushi by bou if you’re looking for delicious sushi and such a fun night! Top notch!

Nicole and Jim were incredible!! They were very accommodating and made the night awesome. Parking situation is terrible but that's for all the restaurants in royal palm place.

Another one 1920's gatsby theme Such an amazing addition to the Boca area There's also outdoor seating besides a nice indoor lounge. The food and drinks are good as always like all our Bous Service always top notch
Overpriced sushi that did not meet quality standards of other comparable omakase experiences I've had. The rice was cold and hard. The pieces were very small and so many of the options were torched until the fish was fully cooked, including the toro, which felt like a waste of good fish.
Great food. Service was excellent. I loved the ambience. Made me want to go back to visit as soon as possible

Celebrated my birthday with hubby and friends at my favorite restaurant. The fish is always so fresh and beautifully prepared and we enjoy that the Chef's choice is always a little different each time, as is the "house" cocktail. The bartender Trace suggested Expresso Martini's after our meal which were delicious and allowed us time to sit in the lounge area and watch the next group of guests enjoy their dinning experience. Nicole is an amazing, attentive host who kept the experience fun for everyone. Highly recommend !

I would like to preface this by saying that I never write reviews, however this made me so furious that I feel it’s imperative for you to know my experience before going here. For context, my family and I enjoy going to omakase restaurants such as Sunset Sushi and Taki omakase. Those options are FAR superior in quality and service. Sushi by Bou says they offer 17 courses, I counted and it was only 12. They combine courses such as wagyu and uni in order to hide the flavor their “A5 wagyu” which FYI is not real wagyu. You can clearly tell it’s American wagyu from the marbling and because it’s extremely chewy. They also shaved “black truffles” over the toro which tasted like nothing because they were not real. By going to omakase you acknowledge beforehand that you are spending a large amount of money, but in return you expect impeccable quality. This was not good quality, it was absolutely horrible. Please save your money.

To start off, when you walk in, to the eye, it's very pleasing. However, the music doesn't match what the ambience should be. The service was absolutely fantastic. The hostesses attended to all our needs promptly, while the chefs worked their magic. In addition, chefs were very playful and personable. For the food, the 12 course meal and sushi bouquet made for a delightful and delicious experience for everyone. All together this experience was amazing and the music was the only downside. It is worth mentioning they will change it on request.
