Uzzo Mediterranean Restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere with prompt and friendly service. The menu, which has a strong Turkish influence with a touch of Greek, features high-quality dishes. The staff is attentive and efficient. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and the kitchen is immediately visible upon entrance. The food was delicious! The bread that had come with our meal served with a spiced oil had a nice chew and bubbly texture. The hummus tasted freshly made. The lentil soup was flavorful! The Greek salad came with fresh veggies and a nice lightly tasting dressing. The meat platter was very tasty; the meats were tender and well seasoned; especially loved the made in house gyro! The husband and wife team are very welcoming. Uzzo was not it's predecessor. The quality is identical to Istanbul. They have live Turkish music. The Iskender Kebab is homemade gyro served over fried pide bread topped with a fresh tomato sauce, yogurt on the side. The Mix Appetizer Platter includes hummus, babagannus, muhammara, spicy tomato, girit ezme, haydari. The pistachio-centric dish, girit ezme, was a favorite. The muhammara was also spectacular. Although a little pricey, Uzzo Mediterranean Restaurant is an exciting Mediterranean spot.
