The meatloaf and fried mushrooms were great service was nice big helpings. I talked to a guy next to me at the bar and asked him what was good he said everything. I also visited the gift shop the jewelry is beautiful and fair priced hand made so I did get a few pair for the kids.

I am from out of town and wanted to sit by a window. After 30 minutes not one person acknowledged us. Finally my friend who is a local got the attention of a very miserable waitress. My friend asked for a menu. The waitress immediately said “ you sat at a dirty table” “it’s the rules, you have to sit at a clean table” let me say there were no clean tables near a window. She was very rude about it. We would have gladly cleaned the table all we wanted were menus and to put an order in. Needless to say the rest of my vacation I will not be back and my island friends don’t like it at Capt Cons anyway but I talked the into it. My mistake! Plus I hope that waitresses face first freeze like it was, wow. Miserable.

Took a drive out to Pine Island from Fort Myers, we stopped at Capt'n Cons. Had the best grouper sandwich I've ever had! Also don't skip on the pie! I will definitely make the drive again to eat here
We ate delicious steamed clams with butter, seafood chowder, and flounder and shrimps. Pies are amazing. It’s across the street from a pier where you can enjoy a stunning sunset.
