Tacos El Viejon is a great little place in Pine Island, offering the best Mexican food in the area. The portions are excellent with lots of protein, and the tacos have great flavor. Everything is made fresh with authentic flavors and is absolutely delicious! The Chicken Torta is especially recommended—chef’s kiss, totally worth the hype. The pork is outstanding, and both the chicken and pork tortas are amazing. The food truck style setup includes outdoor seating under a canopy, making it a must-visit spot for delicious tacos in a cute island setting. While they don't serve alcohol, you can enjoy water, sodas, and Jarritos. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the outdoor shaded area provides a comfortable dining experience. Visitors should bring their appetite—and maybe their favorite hot sauce—to enjoy these bold flavors and big portions.
