Tarpon Lodge is almost an hour drive, but finally decided to try it. It was a beautiful setting--the lodge, grounds, right on the water. We sat inside, but with a perfect view of the sunset. Our waiter was attentive and polite. One ordered the crab soup and crab cakes. The soup was delicious; she wasn't thrilled with the crab cakes (they looked fantastic). The waiter then brought some romoulade sauce and she enjoyed the entree. I ordered the fresh catch of the day, which was red snapper. Perfectly cooked with a cajun spice sauce, served with a spicy ride dish and a green vegetable. It's a special place suitable for a celebration, or a romantic dinner, or to enjoy the view.

Beautiful sunset view while eating the best food around! We started by sharing a cup of the Blue Crab corn chowder—a must have! Shared an appetizer of crab and avocado that was also to die for. Our dinners were Wagyu steak and seafood pasta. Absolutely amazing—everything was fantastic! Our server would get 10 stars if I could. Carol knew everything we needed to know about the must haves since we had never been here. She also paired perfect wines with our dinners. In the end we were too full for dessert but she sent us home with a piece of key lime pie. We had that the next day and boy—also a must have next time! Best Key Lime pie around. We will definitely be back and look forward to it!!

For a Friday night, a week before Halloween, it was very quiet. We had the pick of a table for two and we chose to sit near the window to watch the beautiful sunset. The starter bread was unbelievably delicious and we started with the charcuterrie board. I had a salad with blackened chicken for my meal with a red sangria and my husband had the crab cakes. So delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary so they offered us a dessert on the house. We ordered the caramel cheesecake. Oh my, it was so good! Our server was awesome and it wasn't a long wait for food. Great place, great view, great food, great service!

The catch of the day, the Dover sole was extremely flavorful and surprisingly exceptional. This was our fourth visit to this restaurant, and we have never been disappointed. Excellent wine, pairings, and the waitress was kind and extremely helpful.

The food was amazing! Fresh bread and butter was so delicious all the way to the fresh fish and a steak. This is our new favorite spot! It's very quaint but was a perfect night for a nice date with the hubby.

My husband and I had dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Dinner was delicious, great selection of specials and good pairing of wine with our meals. We ordered the triple tail fish with lemon and cilantro rice and the pork tenderloin medallions with a creamy cabbage and mashed potatoes with goat cheese. We also were served a complimentary dessert cheesecake with caramel. Great service as always, we look forward to going back.

We moved to Cape Coral almost 5 years ago and have never been to Tarpon Lodge except one afternoon for a cocktail. There are not enough adjectives in my vocabulary to tell you how fabulous everything was. I made a reservation over a month ago and so glad I did! Everything from the greeting, Service, Ambiance, Food, Drinks, View of the ocean, and Dessert top notch! I cannot remember our server's name BUT she was from Boston and so are we so it made it extra special. Best server ever! Some may think it is pricey but honestly, you get what you pay for ten fold!! I would rather pay more and have the experience we did yesterday! We will definitely return. The best!!

As usual - our experience at Tarpon Lodge was excellent. My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary dinner. This is a great place for special occasions. The staff, food and atmosphere are always wonderful.

We travel over an hour by boat to eat here and we are NEVER disappointed. Donna was our server and she aimed to please. Food is outstanding and the atmosphere is like stepping back in time to a place that cares about your dining experience. Anytime we have guests who haven't been to the area we make sure and take them there. ❤️
