We love the feel of the place and food is top notch. Great service as well. Only comment I'd make is be prepared for higher end cost. It's not cheap to eat and drink there, but we feel the experience is worth the cost.

Wow.. what a tru gem of Old Florida. The view was spectacular with the Sunset. The food was fresh and delicious. The ambience was amazing. By far the best place in SW Florida for me. Definitely recommend 👍

My husband and I love Tarpon Lodge so much. We make sure to go there at least once each time we're here. It's a lovely peaceful place where it seems that it's the pleasure of the entire staff to make you feel welcome and happy. The service is impeccable and the food prepared to perfection. The setting is lovely-a respite from the noisy, crowded venues found elsewhere. It is an experience that you will long remember. Give yourself a treat!

We rented bikes and traveled here for lunch. It was a cooler day so we wanted a place where we could eat indoors. The winterized porch area was nice and warm. The food was delicious and so we're the specialty drinks. It had a cozy atmosphere with a nice view. We came with kids and they were impressed with the kid menu options.

While on a business trip I stopped in for lunch and found myself transported back in time to a Florida I wish I could have known. The area is beautiful but the lobby and photos on the wall are priceless. The service is fantastic and the view of the Gulf is gorgeous. Only wish I could have stayed for dinner but the lunch menus have plenty of great choices. I enjoyed the blackened fresh red fish tacos. Seasoned perfectly and moist. The black beans and rice are a nice addition as is the fresh coleslaw. Unsweetened tea is refreshing. I’m excited to return and stay in the lodge.

Perfect pre-dinner sunset out back on the dock. Nice ambiance. Good food. Good service. It was our 3 rd time back.

Tarpon Lodge is almost an hour drive, but finally decided to try it. It was a beautiful setting--the lodge, grounds, right on the water. We sat inside, but with a perfect view of the sunset. Our waiter was attentive and polite. One ordered the crab soup and crab cakes. The soup was delicious; she wasn't thrilled with the crab cakes (they looked fantastic). The waiter then brought some romoulade sauce and she enjoyed the entree. I ordered the fresh catch of the day, which was red snapper. Perfectly cooked with a cajun spice sauce, served with a spicy ride dish and a green vegetable. It's a special place suitable for a celebration, or a romantic dinner, or to enjoy the view.

Beautiful sunset view while eating the best food around! We started by sharing a cup of the Blue Crab corn chowder—a must have! Shared an appetizer of crab and avocado that was also to die for. Our dinners were Wagyu steak and seafood pasta. Absolutely amazing—everything was fantastic! Our server would get 10 stars if I could. Carol knew everything we needed to know about the must haves since we had never been here. She also paired perfect wines with our dinners. In the end we were too full for dessert but she sent us home with a piece of key lime pie. We had that the next day and boy—also a must have next time! Best Key Lime pie around. We will definitely be back and look forward to it!!

For a Friday night, a week before Halloween, it was very quiet. We had the pick of a table for two and we chose to sit near the window to watch the beautiful sunset. The starter bread was unbelievably delicious and we started with the charcuterrie board. I had a salad with blackened chicken for my meal with a red sangria and my husband had the crab cakes. So delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary so they offered us a dessert on the house. We ordered the caramel cheesecake. Oh my, it was so good! Our server was awesome and it wasn't a long wait for food. Great place, great view, great food, great service!

What an absolute amazing restaurant with high quality food and top notch service. Highly recommend!
