DeRomo's Gourmet Market

Upon check-in, asked about Happy hour for drinks. Was told they were only available at the bar. So I asked if once we were seated at our table, could I go and get the drinks at the bar in order to receive the Happy Hr discount, prior to meeting with our waitress. Hostess said yes. So I did this. The 3 bartenders would not even make eye contact with me. Once I spoke with one after calling at him, I ordered a couple of Merlot glasses of wine. Receipt price was over $26 for the 2 glasses. I asked the bartender if that was Happy hour pricing....he told me Merlot was not a type of wine available at Happy hour. So I then said, I'd pay my waitress and include this into my dinner bill. The bartender said very rudely "You're the Boss" in a nasty tone. If I am a betting man, I would bet that DeRomo's has a "house brand of merlot in their Happy Hour, but this bartender wasn't being honest and likely gave me a brand which wasn't included in the Happy Hour. Our waitress was very nice and good, so this experience isn't about her, but of the bartenders. It was not a good way for us to begin celebrating our wedding anniversary!

We love DeRomo's and visit when in Naples. We have always had wonderful meals there, wait staff excellent and always a perfect evening. But last night we took friends and all meals were perfect except the Maple bourbon veal chop ($56.00). I ordered medium rare and received well done. I decided to try it thinking as I worked inward, it would be less well done. It was not. As I continued, I found it also to be very hard to cut. This definitely was a disappointment for sure. We'll go back but I should have returned it. I just didn't want the rest of the party feeling uncomfortable, waiting for my second to arrive and ruin the night.

Celebrated our friends birthday, the food was awesome and Kyle was our waiter extraordinaire. Delicious food and stellar service.

We couldn’t be happier that we chose DeRomos to cater our wedding reception! The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests loved every bite. The catering manager Barbara Castiglia was so friendly and made the entire ordering process stress-free. What meant so much to us was how she went above and beyond to make sure one of our guests with celiac disease had a safe and delicious gluten-free entree. That extra care did not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful. Our tasting at the restaurant was such a great experience — the chef personally greeted us, walked us through every dish, and made us feel right at home. Choosing DeRomos was a no-brainer, and we’d recommend them to anyone looking for amazing food and outstanding service.

Very nice food but the service was quite slow and we are very relaxed people, but it was way beyond relaxed. An hour from drinks to ordering to the point where an other server was wondering if we were even appointed a server. We still enjoyed our food and evening jist were a little disappointed in the slow service

The restaurant has great service and a vibe that feels like classic Rome. However, the food and drinks are just average.

It would be nice to have real Italian choices, like pasta, on the lunch specials menu, since it's an Italian restaurant.

Spectacular start to finish! My very favorite dish is the rigatoni. I sub Italian sausage for the pancetta...perfection. We love to finish it off with the incredible chocolate cake. Be aware though, it's HUGE! Worth every bite. Take my advice and enjoy. You'll be happy you did.

Went with 5 others. Take off six in three back room. Very nice, quiet and great service. I had the chicken parm and others with different dishes all have the same feedback to our server. Food was good, not great and portions were small. For my meal, i had one thin breast in top of spaghetti for 31$. For 31$ you should get two thin chicken breasts. Again we all provided the same feedback. High prices. Small portions, great service.

This is our favorite italian restaurant but our server, Luis charged us $24 for a caesar salad that the menu says is $14.

Abderrazak was incredibly attentive and personable. He made sure our experience was great and that our entire family was taken care of. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Exceptional food, beautiful atmosphere, great staff! We have tried many items on the menu, and one is better than the next❗The menu and all the entree’s have really improved with the talented new chef. Our dining experience is always enhanced when we are lucky enough to get our favorite server Iliana;she is personable, attentive and sweet.

Real authentic Italian food. Which is very hard to find in Bonita and Naples
