My wife and I had the blackened grouper sandwich and fried shrimp basket recommended to us by Ben! The best seafood we have ever had in Florida. Ben took incredible care of us. Definitely an amazing experience and I highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant. Thank you Ben for everything we had a great time!!

The lobster rolls are incredible. We have been many times and Doug’s never disappoints!
We had takeout seafood from Doug’s and it was pretty good. So we thought we’d try the restaurant. Bad idea. The only good thing about Doug’s restaurant is the fast service. I had the large lobster roll for $34 and the NE clam chowder for $7. The NE clam chowder had lots of potatoes and clams but too salty. The lobster roll had a hint of a moth ball like smell and no flavor, so I put all the lobster pieces into the clam chowder to be able to eat it. My husband had the hot lobster roll which he said was decent but he was still hungry after that and the clam chowder.We will not be going there again.

My husband and I had a very good dinner at Doug's. My husband has fish tacos and I had the fish and chips. Both were very good and I would go back again. The atmosphere is very casual and the food is what you are going for. Some of the bad reviews seem to be looking for a more upscale place...we thought it was just as advertised. Good food at reasonable prices.
