This is a pretty good place for a hotel bar and restaurant. However, they are missing a couple of things. First, the drinks are overpriced by $2-$3 each (at least). $19 for an Old fashioned at a hotel bar (and another dollar for an ice ball)? The best food here is the pizza (two topping for $16) which is cheaper than one drink. This is made up by darn good service. Not exceptional, but darn good. A couple of the bartenders make great drinks and are very good. Wait staff...
We found Mangroves our second day at the Hyatt. All of the food is good, but I highly recommend the PEI mussels! The drinks there are the best on property. Try the Oh My…Margarita. Our servers were friendly and proficient, and we had various choices of seating areas.
Beautiful hotel and property. The food was delicious. We had multiple cocktails that were delightful. Chicken wings were delicious, and the chips with blue cheese dip were amazing. We will definitely be back. Staff was friendly and quick with food and drink orders.
