Rooftop at Riverside

We’ve been coming to Wednesday night music bingo since the fall and it’s always been downstairs and accessible from the green area. Tonight it got moved to the upstairs bar with all the noise and the barking dogs. We left 2 rounds in bc we couldn’t hear the bingo caller. I hope your karaoke was worth it - but by the looks of it I say not since the whole downstairs was a ghost town when we left. Whoever made this decision should be fired. Like everything else it was good while lasted.

We planned a private event here. It was for my gender reveal and we had kids with us. They had out these bouncy ball things with handles that kids could sit and bounce on and the kids were have a blast. We were there for 3 hours and (I think the owner) came over to my FOUR YEAR DAUGHTER and RIPPED the bouncy ball out of her hands!! My daughter was traumatized!! My husband went over and spoke to him and he gave him some BS excuse about how “they were apart of the restaurant”. My daughter was playing with this for 3 hours and now all of a sudden you took it away? We used to love this place but I will never go back.

Restrooms are a disaster! Not enough of them for the crowd.
Hard to simply order a drink! Bartenders seem lost and confused!

Happily one truck was open the day after Milton “Butcher’s Blvd” and the food is amazing!!! I can’t say enough about how good it tastes.

I think The Rooftop at Riverside is such a great asset to old Bonita/Bonita Springs however it could use some tweaking. The food trucks offer a pleasing selection of foods - savory and sweet, and while enjoying your food the live music adds to the experience plus there are games and activities for all the family. But, what I'm not keen on is the lighting inside the building and around the bar, it is far to bright in the evenings, it definitely needs to be dimmed to create atmosphere and ambience - no one looks good under what can only be described as interrogation lightning! Soft lights or side lamps would only enhance the setting and attract more people. I was in there this past weekend, yes it’s September but there are plenty of year round people living in the area or willing to drive to have a fun day or evening out - it’s obvious that the owners have created a neighborhood Gem but inside and outside should be packed all year round and making it atmospheric with small changes to mood lighting could make that difference. Just my opinion - I want Rooftop to be a resounding success as I love my Bonita Springs.

More flys than WiFi. Downtown Bonita is notorious for poor cell service. Couple that with nonfunctional WiFi + satellite TV, we got ourselves a little bunker piss poor for any form of communication. This is the standard for Bonita, so given that it’s 12 stars for me dawg.

I won’t support a bar that doesn’t treat their employees good and fires them for no reason. Management needs to take their jobs more seriously and not be on a power trip. No wonder this place has gone through management changes left and right since they opened.

This place is next level thinking. You enter a fully stocked bar equipped for any libation you may be in the mood for and the mixologist are eagerly awaiting your request. So friendly and so accommodating. Just a lovely experience . Then you have 6 different choices of culinary indulgence mere footsteps away from the bar in a pleasant open air courtyard with ample seating and space to enjoy your choosing. If you choose to go after 7 then you can enjoy entertainment on the roof top, whether it be a trivia contest or live entertainment, there is fun to be had. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for! I loved it.

I ordered food from a food truck. I walked inside to get a drink, but the bartender was to busy watching TV & chatting with his co-workers, then tending to their customers. I waited for a while but he didn't notice that I was ready to order, waiting & waiting then I just walked out and enjoyed my food without drink. I walk across the street to get some wine & enjoy the live music from there.

Were here for the first time today for an aperitif ? the atmosphere is very cool, new great modern furnishings.??But the service was also great and very friendly and the happy hour was very good.??
Unfortunately we didn't eat anything from the food trucks so I can't rate the food.??
But we'll catch up on that next night.??
