Another great dinner at this lovely restaurant. The escargot is a must try on any visit. The duck was excellent well and perfectly prepared. We have had the opportunity over the course of several visits to sample most of the menu items all of which has been superb. We've even taken out of town visitors who have found this to be one of their favorite continental cuisine restaurants that perfectly adapt country French cuisine in a beautiful setting. Of course we'll be back
This is a very pleasant, delicious place to eat good French food, with attentive service. I highly recommend it for both lunch and dinner.
A true gem in old Bonita springs Two nights a week dinner is served and it's very good I had scallops and the others beef bourginon and French onion soup True to the French vibe service is SLOW but you're on vacay in Florida so what's the rush? It's an old house with a charming shabby chic porch and now very near to the new sugar shack outdoor music venue so you can almost hear that too We will be back merci!
There were 5 of us. Three of us enjoyed our entrees (duck, salmon, and ?) as well as the two who had appetizer (snails and baked brie )appetizers and French onion soup. Service was great.
This was our first time at Survey. We found to be very nice and we will come back. A couple of suggestions though. The Foie Gras didn't say it was a terrine. We were expecting a seared foie gras. It was good, just not what we were expecting. Also, we had the soufflé. I expected some creme anglaise to accompany the dessert, but it came with a small amount of ice cream. The scuffle was slightly dry. I expect the base was pre-made, which is typical. It had a nice hint of Grand Marnier. The bread was excellent, wine was decent and service was friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice experience.
Friendly small cafe in the heart of downtown Bonita Springs. Food and service was very good. The owner Sophie came to our table to chat. She is lovely and cares very much about her business
There last night for the first time with friends who have gone there a few times. I'm a foodie and have to tell you, Was phenomenal!!! I looked at the menu and saw their signature dish. I ordered that. Mongolfiere of The Sea: (signature dish) Cassolette of Lobster, Shrimp, Cod & Scallops, Baked in a Curry-Ginger Coriander Cream Sauce Encased in a Puff Pastry. Don't miss this! One friend had the Old Fashioned Salmon: Fresh salmon snacked with cream and old fashion French mustard served with Basmati rice & sautéed vegetables. And the Salade Lyonnaise: Freshly cut Romaine, Bacon, Golden Pan Fried Crouton, Poached Egg with a Light mustard dressing that is soo good!! We sat on the patio in back where the parallel to the small parking lot. The server Melissa was great. She was Helpful with any questions about the menu. Things were not rushed, timed perfectly. Have already mentioned this place to friends and will get back here soon. We live in Naples and was grateful to have heard of this gem from my friend. And only a 5 minute ride to the Center for the Performing Arts on Bonita Beach Rd.
I love that you can get this quality of cuisine in such a casual environment. lovely hospitality and service. It's French, so yes, most dishes are pretty rich. I had the escargot. It was so good it made me high. For our entrees, we had salmon and duck. Both were good. Duck was two leg quarters instead of a half. Even though I would have really appreciated breast, it was still really well made and enjoyable. Yummy house-made desserts. I'm looking forward to going back. Definitely want to try them for breakfast too!
This is a hidden gem and one we will go back to. Great service, delicious food, cute atmosphere and an all around adorable little spot! Do try it if you have the chance!
We loved this well kept secret spot. Food, ambience and service was perfect. I would recommend Survey for Dinner to anyone.

Delightful dinner inside at Survey Cafe with clothed tables—so French! Food was delicious and reasonable!
Survey Cafe is a hidden gem. The French inspired menus, whether lunch or dinner, never disappoint with fresh ingredients served thoughtfully.
Lovely experience the surroundings are awesome, and the server was beyond belief. The best service we've had in southwest Florida. The food was OK. It did not reach the level we expected for French food, but the entire experience was worth the trip. We'll go back.
We enjoy Survey Cafe every time we go. Our server at dinner, Melissa, was very attentive and friendly. The duck and lamb shank are delicious. It is a wonderful place to enjoy outdoors dining in comfort. We also go for breakfast and lunch whenever we have the opportunity.
